While there are a lot of upgrades you can do to your Oculus Quest 2, replacing the stock facial interface with something more comfortable is the easiest and most affordable upgrade. Thanks, finally I found a actual coverable face cover for my quest 2. When I first got the silicone cover I was thinking i needed the glasses extension, but when I found this video it was a life saver ! Thank you so much for solving all of my problems on the oculus quest 2!

Here's a bit of nerd trivia for you. PU Leather stands for Polyurethane Leather, or plastic leather (some people also call it "pleather.") No animal is harmed in the making in of PU leather, because it's plastic, not actual leather.

Leather and silicon tends to direct sweat down to your mouth, specially in games like thrill of the fight. My recomendation is first use the vr cover leather or silicon then cover it with cotton to absorb all them sweats.

I like the space where the nose is to be honest, I have a fan running towards me 24/7 and the cool breeze of air that enters the quest 2 through the nose hole is refreshing and keeps the quest cooler.

Would be awesome if there were velour face covers. I love the ones on my DT 770 Pro headphones. I think its much better than pleather in both comfort and how long it lasts.

bro you are a life-saver, i bought the vr cover leather interface, and I don't know what it is it just feels off, either way I'm going to try and combine a slim pad with a cotton cover, didn't even know you could get those originally lol, anyway cheers man you got a new sub.

I had gotten my VRCover not too long ago and I am never going back. It's so comfortable that If it somehow got destroyed I'd be hard-pressed to go back to the foam. Also since I sweat a LOT, I am glad I can go back to playing Beat Saber and Until You Fall

My experience has been different. the Quest 2 stock interface was the most comfortable by far, the VR cover was OK but felt like PE leather against your face which was unpleasant after a while.

I bought a tennis elbow velcro strap from the local drug store. I use it with a recharging brick as a counterweight on the top/ strap or below the tightening button at back of my headset. Now I can cup the back strap below the occipital ridge bone at the back of my skull as intended and loosen the whole thing more around my head and face. Comfy and recharges my headset!

I went full cheap on this. Silicone cover for like 3 dollars, a cheap strap mod for like 5 because the straps are waaaay too expensive for me and an oculus link cable that is not oculus. If I want a battery extension I will just use my powerbank. And I still am waiting for my quest 2 to be shipped lol

@Schobe-wan Kenobi 45 dollars is way too much for me. Even the games on the oculus store are too expensive. The quest 2 itself already costs almost as much as minimal wage in my country and the only reason I was able to buy it was because I still had money sabed up from my 18th birthday. Had to sacrifice the driving license for now though but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I'll add a powerbank to the back as a counterweight and I'll be good. And the strap mod I was talking about is basically something you can add on the back, like a padding to hold it further and form into the shape of your head. I have something similar to the basic quest 2 strap on my smartphone "vr" goggles for 5 dollars and it's actually quite comfortable, I didn't even need to adjust it. It was good straight out of the box. I guess it just depends on the shape of your head.

@Schobe-wan Kenobi Lol thanks. Beat saber is the first game I want to try, I also have some games on my PC that support VR and since I ordered a cable then I can play those too. Driving license sucks but is a necessity where I live because public transport sucks buut I still have a whole year of school plus I wouldn't have the money for a car anyways.

I have the VR cover and I hate it. Images are blurrier using it compared to a solidly made foam interface because the headset moves more because it’s stuffing vs foam. I have to crank down harder on the elite strap to make sure the cushion doesn’t move around and move the headset. Then the leather makes it hot around your eyes. Then the creases in the leather sometimes pinch my face. I got the Fit Pack instead and a AMVR silicone cover and it’s amazing. The light blockers in the fit pack block out all light which is so nice, and my face is wide. But the amvr silicone cover is unlike anything I’ve used. It’s not itchy and has these bumps that help grip and the thing doesn’t fall off at all it’s pretty amazing.

The PU leather face cover has been sold out for awhile. I've been trying to get my hands on them for awhile but hopefully they'll be back in stock this month. Are there any other PU leather face covers available from other brands besides vrcover?

AMVR and similar knockoffs from ebay,ali,amazon etc. Don't really know of any that are on par with VRCover in terms of padding thickness. But a thinner pad could give more FOV.

the first you need change the faial interface first. the original one is thick ,that make your eye more far from the lens. there have two typw facial interface on the market now,have amvr facial interface are better than vr cover now,more soft. second then change the foam ,there have alot foam you can change. third ,if you want cotton then put the cotton in in the foam.

No, but vrcover has a thick pad that can be used if you wear glasses to do the same thing.

@@Digiflower5 well it worked for my glasses, and if it doesn't for some reason you can always return it. If you do use glasses though I really recommend getting prescription lens covers.
