Ummm yes really, basically the purpose of making a Galil was to fix some cons the AK has, mainly to "modernize" it more, like the grip and what assets it supports etc.
I quite like Galil but for some reason I buy it very rarely, it's not that it's bad, but there's just better options. Plus AK-47 is just a bit more, I can sacrifice my nades for it.
Almost like those you quoted, but Galil is even worse because some people use CZ as an easy way to frag on ecos, and I love to run and gun with the Mac-10 on anti-ecos and get some easy money for example, even if they are only useful on a few rounds, they can still be useful, but the Galil feels so out of place. I can't use it on anti-ecos because the SMG reward is the double, I can't use it on full buy rounds because the AK-47 is just a few bucks more and can take one enemy with a single HS.
Marcos Júnior When you have 3k on T side, would you really buy an.SMG on force round? I don't know about you, but I prefer to be mediocre at all ranges and situations, instead of being very good at one only. The galil is a pretty good rifle when you're on low money and want to be able fight m4s. I wouldn't personally advise it over an ak per say, but I would *strongly* advise anyone who has less than 3.7k to buy a galil.
Marcos Júnior I would only buy it so that when I die, the CTs don't get the one hit headshot advantage. Although that sacrifices your own 1-shot advantage, CTs sometimes don't buy head armour since they assume you'll have an AK or AWP; buying a helmet assuming those things would be a waste. So, you MIGHT get your 1-shot advantage and they won't (assuming your team has head armour).
What terrorist buy now in force rounds? Tec-9 is nerfed and ump-45 too. Galil is too expensive and so is the mp7. Do I buy deagle and pretend im juan deag?

The galil has the best skin tbh, not only does Chatterbox look the best in battle-scarred (wich makes the coolest looking version the cheapest) but its also fucking animated, WHEN DO YOU GET AN ANIMATED SKIN CS:GO?! IS THE FUCKING FADE ANIMATED? NO! IS THE FUCKING ASIIMOV ANIMATED? NO!
the gun has a little metal part that moves when you shoot, with the skin the upper part of the thing is a skull while the little moving part is a jaw, when you shoot it looks like the skull is laughing. And yes, you can call it animated because the defintion of animation is to create the illusion of movement wich it does.

Not being able to 1hs helmeted opponents the galil helps you learn playing ct rifles, while the smaller spray pattern helps controlling sprays better for newer players. If you fail to often with the ak, try the galil first and once you learned that trabsition to the ak. You will also improve your ct game when using it
The galil is one of my absolute favourite guns in the game. Its cheap price means that i'm usually deciding between a cz, mac10 or galil for anything that isn't an ak. It's just so much fun to spray with, and the 35 round mag is great. I hate the famas with passion, but the galil is great
I might be strange, but I feel very confident with the galil at medium range. I manage to land the first / second bullet in the head and another somewhere in the torso.
Either drop another 200 from it's price, or buff kill reward, and it'd be a serious contender versus the UMP. As it works regarding firing mechanics I do think it's quite alright.

The Galil is primarily intended for force buys. Terrorists don't force buy. I personally buy neither the Galil or UMP on anti ecos. I generally stick to the XM or the MP7, because the XM makes you a fuckload of money up close and can be fired whilst reloading (a god send against an eco rush) and the MP7 is easier to control than the Galil (and CTs don't buy helmets so the damage I don't find an issue.) I usually buy the Galil on force buys as T side solely for the grenades on a budget, and the fact that I know that the CTs won't buy helmets anyway, meaning that the one tap ability for the AK usually is going to be moot.
I think the Galil is under-used compared to the FAMAS because the FAMAS has greater value compared to available weapons (both M4 and FAMAS need 2 bullets to kill), the fact that it's T-side, where money is more available, and the fact the AK has better value for the increase in cost compared to the Galil. And the fact it's competing with the TEC-9.
the Benefits of the Galil are: high magazine capacitiv ofsets the reload time, 5 kills on one mag are possible. depending on rank/map and the teamplay nates can be super important. if the cts like to push the Galil is great. Anti eco advantage many other players dont know how to use it, so a ct wont pick it up, or use it incorectly and loose the round or waste money in the next round to upgrade to an M4. also cevlar buys varies, lover ranks will forgo it often in favor of a better gun or instead of an eco round. Higher ranks will skip the helmet if the ts and buy Aks and due so, in that situation the Ts can sjpsitute one or Galils and invest in more nates, pistols for awpers, or bulding up a bank, galil works also great to go solo to bomb side gain map cocntrol and keep rotation options open, if that player dies a ct clutch with the picked up Galil is less likely then with an Ak, so for example team goes a on dust2 or cache and the Galil player can engage/hold B in cqc then rotate throuh mid also with shorter distances. as a flanking or backstabing player the one shot headshot potential is not as important as in direct confrontations because with their backs are turned it is easier to aim and get more shots of, another cost saving advantage if an ak or even awp player ( orM4 etc)goes down you can just upgrade and save even more.
The famas is more powerful than the aug if you compare the damage of the two guns. So Valve should fix the long accuracy of the galil because it's becoming underrated.
You should always buy the galil for anti-eco because when u die to the op pistols in the game you will not give them the smg god but the shitiest AR in the game its very noice
*get good with the galil and buy the galil That's why I buy the pp-bizon on anti-ecos. They can't do shit against people with high-powered SMGs and full armor with their skill and I'm really good with it anyway.

I buy Galil either when I know it's a force armor pistol so I can take out CZ or Deagles is mid range while also getting extra utility that I wouldn't have if I chose the ak47. Tbh, spraying with the galil is fairly simple. It's similar to the m4a1-s but moves horizontally. The thing id though, if your enemy isn't dead within 10 bullets, that's your fault for not aiming properly or just being bad. Because for the most part, you should be able to hold down and spray the first 10 bullets with ease, making it on par with CT Rifles like the M4.
I loved the IDF from 1.6 and I love the Galil from GO. It's a reliable AR you can use in any round, and a great support to my teammates. The firerate and increased magazine are welcome, and as crazy as might sound, I think it's more precise that the AK. #MakeGalilGreatAgain
I think giving the galil it's scope back would be great. But then skin makers would have to adapt their already existing skins to it, and we may need to give ct side another scoped weapon to be fair. But hey, it needs a buff. Either that or an accuracy buff.
3 kills with UMP = +600$ 3 kills with MP7 = +100$ And that is quite bad for a "farming smg" (I would obviously still pick it up from the ground if I see it)
I really REALLY want them to make an alternate galil ARM variant maybe as a reskin, i never liked how the more modern galils looked, they’re too Rounded for my taste.
I would say going up against forcebuys would be the best time to buy it since dropping a Galil for the enemy team is a lot better than dropping an AK. With the little amount of people that actually use it, it'll have much less of an effect on you in the next round (if the enemy teams that forced saved their weapons).
Im only silver 4 and o personally love galil on the 2nd or 3rd round. Being in a low rank my teammates buy ak's and die and so I keep myself alive and then pick up their ak's. Play smart, not hard.
I love the galil. The AK is nice but i use it only for tap shooting, at least on medium to long ranges spraying is impossible while spraying down enemies isn't hard with the gali, at least on short and medium range. Just yesterday i sprayed down 3 enemies withing 5 seconds on Nuke. Maybe it's just in my mind, but in most situations i prefer it to the AK.
I honestly just buy ump and armor and some throwables (depending if I need it). Most of the time I maintain above 6k+ all the time. So I'm always able to buy for teammates.
Galil is like my favourite T side weapon,i sometimes prefer it over the ak and no i aint no silver who cant use an ak so i buy the galil,im lem,idk if its just me but yeah,galil is sick
