Love the humor in this one! I really wish cities weren't as car-centric here in America, it'd be a lot safer having actual bike/scooter infrastructure than just painted bike lanes. If I had an e-scooter I'd LOVE just to go to the store without having to hop in a metal box that's bad for the environment, not to mention parking.
I have a norwegian version from EWheels which uses the exact same frame and app, only difference is that the headlight is placed above the front wheel. And it has a 500 watt battery with a top speed of 30km/h and 40km distance when I drive 22km/h. Really like it. The solid tires aren’t that good on bumpy roads but on asphalt you can’t really tell the difference (had a scooter with air filled tires before).
iScooter E9T is pretty much the same except it comes with 10" air filled tires, bigger 10Ah battery and rear suspension. The 350W motor actually pulls 600W+ when accelerating or going uphill so that's why it's faster than you would expect. I really like it so far after ~300kms.
We NOW have LOADS of new Ebike, Escooter and other EV content over at my other channel the EVRC. Going forward this will be VR only so come subscribe to the EVRC: www.youtube.com/@e-VRC Engwes NEW bikes are great! See you there 🤘🤘
I'm a Brit living in Vancouver, Canada - and canadians have tons of e-scooters all over the city! You can even rent them like the city bikes in London. If I had one I'd take the e-scooter through the torrential rain along the sea wall, high five some fellow scooterers (scooterans?) along the way, and then straight to the pub. Cheers for the reviews!
Transport options like this really need to become the norm. The gov were talking about adding dedicated lanes for cycling etc around the UK but seems nothing is happening about it. I'd use mine on private land where the land owner had given permission, obviously. 😆
I just bought the 1S and paid $209.00 delivered a very bright head light, and rides nice. Took 4 days to get it in the U.S. thats very fast.....and was able to hit 18.6 mph at just 70% battery, nothing like my 49mph wolf warrior but pretty fun I'll be putting a full review of it on my RU-vid page......thanks for the review.
If I had an E-Scooter like that, I would 100% use it to commute to and from class. I don't live ridiculously far from campus, but it's definitely too far to walk. Being a big campus, it would be amazing to ride around there too!
I've a stupid long commute, so it is no use there, but a little scooter like that would be perfect for a quick jaunt to the store without having to get back into the car. Not having a whole trunk forces one to not buy half the store, and that really helps keep the jaunt quick!
Hi 👋 to you & your family I hope all is well🤞 I absolutely 💯% percent love your RU-vid content ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been subscribed to your channel for quite some time now but never commented & I wanted to also say I really like the fact that you get your wife & your son involved with these videos 📹 cool. I've always wanted an electric scooter or bike not just for Sheer laziness but I would use either or just to get to my mums as she is disabled for quickness/emergency as I don't drive as I'm 46 👍. Take care & stay safe.
@@VRCauldron thanks for your reply 👍🏻 yes I live in Surrey so it's a bit of a bummer 😕 stay safe. (But I wouldn't mind getting one still I would try & avoid PC PLOD lol)
I would love to get one of these when I go down to the beach and just cruising around the neighborhood as they're both very flat with many interesting views along the way.
I would just help out my grandma go to the grocery shop to get her things because it’s pretty hard for her to go to the shop so I just thought I’d just help her and get it for her
With 15 minutes of battery life, it would just replace my daily walk from my home to the nearest Metro entrance and back. If I could also use it also with the same charge from the airport to my job it could become an alternative to a (most costly !) folding bicycle
Good question. I haven't tried with multiple phones but even though there's a lock function it's not really a security thing. Just like someone could change the settings on any scooter/ebike computer.
Thanks for the info...just ordered one in America...wow...it's amazing they are outlawed...young people need to run countries, not old heads..great info...
So you open the hood to check oil.. you open the trunk to store your bag.. thanks You can mix it up.. store your boots in the trunk of your car. She put her bonnet in the trunk.
I would definitely use it to go to and from work or basically use it to go anywhere that I dont need to use a car for. I have thought about getting one for a while now.
Different rules in different states here in Australia. I'm in Queensland. Similar rules to a push-bike like must wear helmet, 25klom limit, less around people, no riding on road except to cross the street. Basic rules. Though idiots make troubles for the rest as usual. Coppers are catching riders with speed cameras around popular walking paths and booking if they have no helmets. Some have been nabbed drink-driving etc. Thanks for the vid.
I would love to take one of these on the local paved bike/walking trail with my dog. I mean we could both use the exercise but he would get more if I could keep up with his energy on a scooter.
I would commute to work, go to shops, visit friends... In fact I already do, thankfully the law isn't as crazy in Sweden as in UK regarding these. Watching these videos I'm itching to get one of my own though, currently I use the rental ones. Getting a little sick of having to go track one down every morning. 😋
Hello friend, one question I have a skate like that and they told me that it had a cable to limit the speed. Could you tell me which cable it is if you know?
I love your videos! I don’t understand why the UK forbids these and the e-bikes. If I had this scooter, I’d ride it along the waterway in Buffalo, NY to take in the beautiful sites and sunsets!
Great video of the i9;scooter i currently own a aovo es80 i have managed about 12 miles on a full charge its good for small inclines but on larger ones its not so good great videos mate keep it up
I've been doing some travel along the US coasts and an e-scooter would be great for cruising around the towns and beaches I'm seeing. It's too bad there are so many places they can't be used.
Mate. Just got one gets to three bars and stops goes down to one flashes can't turn it off or do any thing from the kneck till I get back and put it on charge take it off charge and then press the power button to regain control please help me
We've had push bikes and electric bikes for years. Now it's time for the electric scooters to be made legal. There are trials in London so, fingers crossed. I want to take my dog for a walk but am relying on dog walkers just now (I have a back problem). How easy would it be for me to jump on an escooter and take my dog to the park? We could have a really great time whizzing around. I really like the look (and price) of this scooter.
I see a lot of videos on this iscooter brand, looks sturdy and worth it. Like a cheaper alternative to the hiboy. More solid review channels like this reviewing iscooter also helps me feel more safe ordering it. It’s sooo many clones! Like the isinwheel! Same thing as the iscooter! Amazon clone! Just green!
Lookin to get a couple of cheap scooters for me and my son 13 years old just to cruise around would you reccomend this model. Thanks. I dont want to spend loads but also want decent range and speed
Really cool review, subscribed 👍. I have the e9d, but it doesnt have that on off feature for Kick start. I always have to Kick start and its fully updated. Weird
Battery don't last. I don't recommend. Can't even take me to work and back when fully charged. My office is 30mins ride with the scooter. So 1hr for a complete ride to work.😮
If I have an eScooter, I would love to ride it in the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. I'd imagine a slow ride through the garden would be so relaxing and scenic.
Since I'm in the UK too I probably wouldn't get one, but if I did I would probably only use one to go meet a friend for my twice a week tai chi session in the park.
Thanks for the upload. I bought the iScooter i9 on the strength of it and am glad I did. One thing though - I found it VERY tricky to attach the front wheel to the steering column. Not obvious how the mechanism worked and nothing seemed to work and the manual no help....in the end it was one of those where I just kept fiddling with it and suddenly it just popped together....but I don't really know why and am not looking forward to doing it again. Did you have similar experience or did you work it out? Thanks again.
I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding you but my front wheel was already connected when it arrived. Now you've connected it though why would you have to do it again?
@@VRCauldron I wasn't clear, I meant the front wheel and the whole scooter, apart from the steering column. There is a hinged part about 9" above the front wheel, which you have to fix together with the column. You would have to disconnect this part again and lay the column onto the standing platform if you wanted to, for example, put the scooter in a car boot to transport it. Thanks for your reply.
I would love to get one, shame they are illegal to ride in most places in the UK! There is some private woodland nearby that might be cool to ride in though.
I really hope our government pull their fingers out and get these legal! I honestly think SO many people would use them over cars or public transport. Green, and less congestion!
If I had this scooter, I'd use it to go down to Benidorm sea front as in Spain they allow e-scooters on cycle paths. Crazy UK rules :-( glad you found somewhere in America to test it ;-)
I would go to my local flying drone club field which is too far to walk and a nightmare to get to when the wife takes the car to work at weekends oh and the chip shop !! Lol the small mining town i live in i have not got to worry about police its like heartbeat.
@@VRCauldron I couldn't say for every officer, but I can honestly say I've seen police drive by them numerous times without even a second glance. I suspect it's more effort than it's worth. I've asked a friend of mine who works for the police and I'll let you know his take on it.
What a fun new direction for the channel! If I had an escooter I’d drive it to a couple nearby (American) cities and ride it around there. I’d certainly have to test its “eat-while-riding-ability”!
I keep getting tempted to get an EUC but they require (not “suggest”, REQUIRE) a lot of safety gear. That adds a lot of cost to the EUC itself, plus adds preparation time every time I’d want to ride it. I live in a rural area so riding would be mostly big paved roads, not an urban or suburban commute. Still… some RU-vidrs make it so damn tempting!
this is no 350w motor or the battery don´t deliver the right amount of power. it is a little weak, i would say with out mesuring that it lands about 250-300watts. the battery lacks a little too, it looses speed over time and that pretty quickly. mine starts at 30kph but after 400 meter it goes down to 28kph, then after about 5 minutes it settles at 26kph. my weight are 86kg so it shouldnt have any problem. i ride where it is mostly flat. the battery is 36v 7.5ah so something isn´t quite right here. i still ride it to work but my friends that didn´t cheap out and order this one have to wait for me and that sucks so i am a bit annoyed.
Geez great value, those features were great to see. I'd take this around town luckly I live in a pretty flat area would be a much nicer alternative to an electric long board
I would rock the paths around the lake which my town is named after. It would be plenty fast at 15, 19mph would be a bit scary in my opinion. Thanks for the great review. Now I want one too! Ha ha, it comes with a app powered security system. What does the more expensive ones come with?
I’m a U.S. college student, so I would use the scooter so I wouldn’t be late to class haha. We actually have escooters all over our campus, but u have to pay each time u want to use them, so they can get a bit expensive.
will you try the ....some kind of 1 weel skateboard thing ,or the one where you stand straigh and the weel in between your leg . I dont remember their name sorry
@@VRCauldron ive seen an entire family using that in group haha , it was the first time i see this . I was surprised that the ....i would say .... 5 year old was using it no problem
