Have heard pro & con about Meritage homes. If you're going to buy from them, be sure to get YOUR OWN INSPECTION BEFORE YOU SIGN TO CLOSE & ACCEPT. & do not let them threaten you about using your own inspector. BTW, couple of observations: in the 1st bedroom it must've been pretty small because it looked like the closet door was hitting the bed when the door opened all the way; very small living/family area; tiny 45 ft lots😟.

I honestly would need a tub in the master bath. I love taking baths!! My master has an oversize tub and I absolutely adore it. After having a regular tub most of my life... I had no idea what I was missing and I don't think I'd be able to go back!!
I'm considering moving to Houston but my wife is concerned about tornadoes. How often do tornadoes hit the Houston area? Are homes built with basements? What is the chance of a Houston area home being destroyed by a tornado? Can you make a video on this aspect of Houston or simply answer?
No tornadoes in Woodlands/Conroe area. Live a few towns over from Magnolia and crime there is safe and heavy traffic but it is affordable and there's a lot of shopping and nightlife in the Woodlands which is about a 15 min drive.

Looks good, inexpensive. Texas kind of has it bad though with the MAGA governor and the tornadoes, floods, anti-women’s rights, and racism. Super hard pass.
