Yes sir, encouragement is always something I am trying to pour out. I was discouraged for a long time and needed someone to help me out with my guitar/worship walk. God placed it in my heart to start this channel for that very reason. I want to be who I needed for others!!

I've been dying for this video to come out. LOL You made a simple board sound amazing!!!! I think this board could help me improve by providing me with more tonal options. I currently don't have a compressor, vibrato or wah pedal so, I feel like having these things might motivate to try different techniques. Like , you mentioned gospel funk earlier......I love those styles but I don't really know how to play them at all (or at least not well, lol). Ultimately, i need to practice more....i know this for sure. However, hearing some different sounds always pushes us to try new things😁😎✊

Very nice. You put together a pretty good setup for playing a few different styles of music all on one board. I can imagine playing let me tell you about my Jesus live and being able to make it sound pretty sweet. Kudos to whomever wins. May it be used as a tool in your belt to help spread the word.

I just started out with some equipment and I have yet to be able to afford anything other than the equipment i mainly got from thrifting, this would be great of my collection.

I would switch wah to volume (pre-delay) and have a noise suppressor, and maybe a second drive for stacking. the Behringer 808 is great. If the board leaves room for it; a Chorus too! Tip: for worship I place the compressor after the first drive to keep rhythm sounds under control!!

Bro great advice!! I know the winner will definitely keep that in mind. I had the helix and had so many signal paths. Now I have the Quad Cortex and the potential is just limitless. I tend to always run my compressors before my overdrives so that I get some sustain to my leads. I love stacking drives too. I also learned from a dear friend of mine that amp drive is always better. you gotta love the different ways to setup a board and how others would do it too. Thanks for the tip again!!

I got blessed to finally have a pedalboard I love and even start a small time used guitar pedal business. I’ve had to sell my pedals to make bills for so long, I pray I never have to and God just provides infinitely. Anyhoo, if I win, please, pass it on to anyone who doesn’t have a pedalboard yet. Anyone could use all that stuff as is, for years and it will work. Guitarists in Praise are literally too gear obsessed. Too concerned about buying the newest stuff. It's really gross.

Yea we can be obsessed sometimes. The focus should never be the gear (no matter how much of it you have); our focus should always be on Jesus. I know us as guitarist, we are always searching for better tone. I believe that you got to be resourceful with what you got. I've always looked at gear as tools. If my tools aren't getting the job done, then I need tools that will. You know what I mean? I know God knows the heart of the worshipper. If you can upgrade to sound better or to be more versatile that is always good (maybe donate or sell your current gear). If you can't upgrade that is fine too. God can also provide; He moves people's hearts to give you new gear. He did it for me. I did an interview on my channel with Danny, he spoke about his obsession with tone and effects. God delivered him from that. So, I know what you mean my friend. Gear can be a temptation for sure, but let's always seek and focus on Him! Be Blessed!
