This is a ‘V’ shape knitting pattern made with yarn overs that together create a chevron-like pattern.
This design is quite perfect for a sweater, a blouse or Amy project that is closed-knit with a little ventilation.
Instructions:
Multiple of 10 + 1
yo=yarn over
2tog=knit 2 stitches together
ssk= slide 2 stitches knit wise, one at a time, place them back on left needle and knit them through the back.
sk2p= slide 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches together and pass the slid stitch over that last one.
Repeat from * to
Base Rows;
1.- knit the whole row.
2.- Purl the whole row.
Stitch rows:
Row 1.- *k5, yo, ssk, k3 at the end of the row, k1.
Rows 2,4,6 8 and 10.= Purl
Row 3.- k3, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k2 at the end of the row, k1.
Row 5.- k2, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, ssk, k1 at the end of the row, k1.
Row 7.- k1, k2tog, yo, k5, yo, ssk at the end of the row, k1.
Row 9.- k2 tog, yo, k7, yo sk2p, yo, k7, yo last 2 stitches ssk.
Repeat these 10 rows for pattern.
