A while since I was up that way, but I never tire of seeing it again - and the path over to Laddow.Lost count of the number of times I've roamed all over that way an along the tops. Good to see familiar routes again.
@@michaeldenham9681 goin to venture to laddow rocks next week hopefully Michael, starting in carrbrook village, upto the old Roman fort on buckton castle, over to alphin, onto chew res then take the path to laddow rocks.
Nice one Ken.. so you gave that route a go then. Yeah, as you get further along Chew Res, it does begin to feel desolate and a tad eerie.. when we first explored that way, we just went a bit further over a couple of walks, and then you get familiar and before you know it, youre stomping your way to Laddow Rocks, the Pennine Way, Featherbed Moss and the rest! Brilliant mate.. all the best on ya next one. 👍
We were talking about doing another walk from Dovestones up to Chew Valley. Last time made it to Chew Res but no further. Very boggy as you say. Nice your route Ken. Recognised Indians Head too, you had a good view. Lovely film Ken. Enjoyed your commentary. What camera are you using? is still your mobile? Very good shots.
@@CountrysideWalking thanks shanita, still using the phone for my vlogs although I do have a camera at hand, also got the inshot app on my phone so makes it easier to edit.
