Dude I came to hear the trade news and had to listen to 8 minutes of things I already knew before you would say the trade news. That's not a slick trick to get people to watch. That's a good way to lose subs.
That’s because those receivers stepped up and he had a top 5 tight end at the time, I wish the Panthers still had Smith that year so we could’ve seen him up against Aqib Talib again
Besides Minnesota everyone has potential I think Minnesota will have a historical awful year They LOST A TON OF TALENT The other 3 teams will be cutthroat for the division
Don't forget, Bears were a playoff team if the HC didn't cause them 3 games...We don't fear or swear Detroit. Jared Goff folded vs our defense and will continue to...
It was 2013 and the second game in the Chip Kelly era. So I'm at the Linc and you go crazy on 3'rd down to stop the other team. Every third down Phillip Rivers found this WR Keenan Allen for a first down and he (Keenan) made it look easy. He may not have been a leading receiver (in yards) but I think he has been consistent all these years.
Wow , i think this is the most mikerophone ive watched in a 48 hour period and he's pumping out the the content like a jack rabbit on steriods thnx Mike your the best!
You'll be the fool though because we only had 4 total draft picks now. They're trading the 1st for the haul, as they should. We're not sweating the next Kyler Murray that will never win big games lbs
They could trade down to get Mhj and get more picks for the future just in case fields fails. That way a strong team with weapons which any QB could flourish in.
Great move and not an overpay when there’s a good chance MHJ, Nabers, Odunze and even Bowers are all gone by #9. Now they can use that pick to fortify the OL, pass rush or trade down for more assets 🐻🔽
I really hope we're keeping H1M, but this trade makes it seem like we aren't going for MHJ and if we aren't going for MHJ we're almost definitely taking Williams. It sucks. I hate to see Fields get the Baker treatment and get blamed for bad coaching.
@@TheNussbaumer well bears are getting Caleb Williams… I just don’t get it!! Why bench Fields if he’s proven himself last season??? If u gonna keep fields atleast trade the number 1 pick then..
Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze most likely gonna be a Charger next year. That is probably the main reason they felt comfortable with letting Allen and his $31 million cap hit go. Will get a much younger receiver with lots of upside for far cheaper.
For the Chargers fans out there, don't stress. Might not seem like it right now but this will be good for the franchise moving forward, freeing up much needed cap space (especially if guys who had issues staying healthy and realistically don't have much longevity left) to bring in younger talent with exponential potential. Or the freedom to make some big moves. Be patient, this is actually a good thing, believe it or not.
I know your research is better than that. Telesco wasn’t the one handling the salary cap numbers. It was the chargers “family members” who worked in the front office. Telesco was handcuffed.
Imagine this Batman… If Ryan Poles is thinking Keenan factors into being just a 2-3yr rental… He could easily trade away this years 1st overall pick and slide down to 2 or 3, then take "Maserati" Marv Jr. with that pick to fill the gap for Keenan future departure. But then you're stuck with that 2025 contract extension for JF1 DJ, Keenan & Maserati Marv... Such a scary good scenario, right?.. hahaha
If they keep Justin, this is absolutely a 1 year rental. I don’t think poles wants to do that so I assume they extend him to lower the cap hit, then they can keep him around cus Caleb will be cheap
@@nautgamingnautgaming9949😒😬😭😭😭😭 you Wackers couldn't even sniff another SB with Rodgers. Stop it...Bears would've been a playoff team if the duffus HC didn't blow 3 games and axed rhe OC sooner
Keenan Allen is coming off his best year. If we don't extend him and he plays even close to what he did we will get a comp pick in 2025 and it will be a 3rd or 4th round so this pick is simply a security deposit that we will most likely get back.
Let’s be honest with a top 5 pick and 3 of the top 5 are selecting a qb most likely and the cardinals are looking to build a o-line that leave Harrison Jr. for them
Sorry Chargers fans, but thank you! 😂 Moore, Allen, Kmet, Swift, Everett, and either MHJ or Williams. I was ride or die for Fields but we aren't getting these receivers for a running qb lol . Pretty obvious that Poles is setting Caleb Williams up for success immediately. LFG! 🐻⬇️
As a Detroiter and a Lions fan, I gotta say, I'M A LIL WORRIED RN, hopefully our newly acquired secondary and d line will negate but cmon Brad Holmes knock our socks off w a free agent WR! I really wanted Mike Evans😢 cjgj is gone maybe Mosely makes a come back or.... we sign Justin Jeff
But, if the Bears don’t sign Allen to an extension and he walks after the season. The Bears get a compensatory pick next year. Just saying. This even creates more value. Lose a 4th round for an elite WR and still get something back in the future makes that a wash at the very least
If I were the Bears I would keep Fields and draft Marvin Harrison Jr QB: Fields RB: Swift WR1: Allen WR2: Moore WR3: Marvin Harrison Jr TE: Gerald Everett or Cole Kmet And at the 9th pick I would go for Turner if not then Verse. Fields is a good QB, and the Bears shouldn’t give up on him, and with those weapons the Bears offence would be elite, and I would see them as a dark horse, that will shock a lot of people
i dont think there is a single way you can rationalize this as a good move for the chargers. We were already cap compliant before the trade. Does Joe Hortiz really have THAT much faith in josh palmer and qj?
Loads of WR in the draft...every year. WR is the most promising position for the foreseeable future. The price of these guys should go down dramatically as the market is getting flooded with wideouts.
