Grew up around Uptown from 1948 to 1960, hung around Chase Park and went to Our Lady of Lourdes school. It was an interesting place to be with quite a history including Al Capone etc. The Aragon ,the Riviera, and the Uptown, the later being one of the most beautiful theaters in the country.
