So interesting. I live 2200 +miles away south of Pacific northwest. The people her did not hunt the whales. The Pericue, Yaki, Seri, Guaycura, Lived off of fishing, clamming, and hunting the small Deer. My partners descendants were Pericue and Guaycura. And his Grandma was a Yaki. To date we continue to supplement our diet with the local food from the sea. We watch the Whales pass by on their way south every winter with admiration and awe.

@@healdiseasenow your completely mistaken, try reading Howard zinn history book, you’ll learn the truth, but you sounds like you’ll prefer your own truth, the British had made a treaty with the natives to respect their land, only the wealthy own all the land and the only land poor settlers could own were in Indians territory, and settlers always cleared the land of trees, to farm the land…in order to understand thing must see thing from the others POV…bottom line Europeans brought over many diseases that wipe out many natives who had no resistance etc..if you going to justify how wealthy europeans took away the land and created a European real estate system to justify taking the land, just like wealthy Europeans created the backing system by printing their own money, giving themselves loans, which they never paid back, then loan money to others, and charging them outrage interests, just as a unregulated Wall Street no longer serve it original purpose or the people, it’s just a way for wealthy to make incredible profit or wealth, during the pandemic, while almost everyone else been struggling to afford the out of control rents…so don’t talk to me about history, history is often written by those who would prefer to hide the truth…

The North American continent is absolutely enormous. Huge portions of it were unoccupied by any humans. If your childish view of territorial ownership sees the entire western hemisphere as “owned” by whichever Asian tribe was first to step across the Bering strait, how do you account for the fact that Asian immigration came in several waves from completely different parts of Asia? Tribes in this documentary had a brutal, cruel slave-based economy in which women and children were tortured to death at “potlatches” for entertainment. google it! these people got their first basic human rights protection under the legal umbrella of the white people you hate
