Franco is the Daimyo of Hokkaido and Dyrroth served under him. However, both Dyrroth and Franco died in the chaos of the Gurenji Rebellion. The Divine Goddess is Lunox's previous existence. In her previous life, Lunox was the Divine Goddess, the daughter of two ancient deities. Her mother died giving birth to her, and the Divine Goddess herself passed away young due to an unknown sickness. Lunox's father promised to bring back his wife and daughter from the Underworld but broke his vow to prevent the merging of the Underworld and the human world. This betrayal led to the resentment and corruption of Lunox's mother, turning her into a vengeful Yokai. The Divine Goddess seeks Lunox's acceptance to awaken Dyrroth and save the human world.
