The Chosen’s John: “Lots to Look Forward To” in Season 3 

The Beloved Apostle. I can’t wait to see more and more of John’s character growth. Him witnessing the crucifixion and taking care of Mary for Jesus. I love that about John and I love how the Chosen makes him a bit of the youngest and most excitable of the group.

George, my favorite of all the Gospels is that of John. In Season 2, Episode 1, when you started reciting, "In the beginning was the Word..." I broke down and cried like I had not cried during the entire series. I felt as if I was witnessing John himself delivering his message. Your acting is superb for you capture and embrace the true essence of the Apostle John.

I love your dedication to your character George. Episode 1 of Season 2 I felt I was watching the birth of John when he was with Christ in the Synagogue. It is one of my favourite & most incredibly moving scenes. Your sincere love for the character you portray was very clear & touched my heart immensely. I saw Jesus as willing to come down to our level in that scene with Simon. And scripture says he emptied himself to come to us. I LOVE that scene with Simon, it moves me every time!

Oh I love George´s heart for his character and the whole show. He easily gives the vibe of "beloved disciple" but also "beloved person" in general!

The scene in the synagogue where he is Chosen to help Jesus pick what part of the Torah to read ! ❤❤❤❤.As Jesus reads John has a tear and so do I ,actually more than a few ! I love what George said in the intro. I think what makes The Chosen works is it shows the sanctification of the followers of Christ rather than jumping to story to story, making it ENTIRELY about Jesus.

John such great insights from you. You have a rich way that you communicate all your answers.

I love the way he describes how he tells people who don't know Jesus about the show, becuase so many shows about Jesus aren't this way. I also love his answer about growth. In early times of waiting on the Lord, I didn't understand that and wanted His promises NOW. Looking back on many times I am thankful for HIS wisdom in not answering my NOW request! Because I clearly wasn't ready for what came later. The disciples (espec that one scene with Simon in S2 when they're walking!) are an excellent example and reminder of how His timing really is better than ours.

George thank you for your perspective on S3. As a F5K participant I totally agree with your “now like then” experience of the come and see invitation from Jesus. I love John’s arc too and feel like I am making a great friend through your portrayal of him. Thank you!!

I said this before but, I'm studying John right now and I'm very curious of how your character will continue in season 3. Especially in the pairs. I also want to give you a reminder that God chose specifically you to play this part in the series. Please remind yourself everyday (with humility) that God put YOU in this position and that He also wants to connect with you. I saw some bts and you're definitely one of the funniest cast member, but I also really want to give you the 'serious' love the fans and God has for you. I'm also excited to see your connection with your character when John gets to do a miracle. How Jesus gave John (and the other disciples) authority to use God's power, you can also receive that as you, as George. And spread it in your inner circle(s). This is kinda long, and I don't even know if you're gonna see this and I'm a random stranger from across the world, but I just want to give you a warm hug in this way.
