There are many things about the Catholic Church that are just.. wrong. Jesus says you must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven, I'm not sure what that means to Catholics. They also say the the word of the Catholic Church is equal to the Bible, confession.. no man can forgive sins, only Jesus. Mary did not get raptured into heaven either. There's no such thing as purgatory.. to believe that would say the final work on the cross was insignificant. I know it's awhile since your comment, but I hope you did read your Bible again. I wish the catholic church kept The Bible in its original format. The Regular NKJV is easy to read and my favorite.
@@julianaallen8477 this is not the place to reject Catholic teachings you don’t understand or believe. People of all religions are waking up to Jesus with this series. Do you know for a fact that the most precious person in God’s life would not be assumed into Heaven? There were witnesses. And believing in purgatory does not diminish one ounce the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Yes, he forgave our sins but we all continue to sin, it’s human nature. So we must still try not to sin and pray for forgiveness when we do. But all of our sins have left stains on our souls and purgatory is where we go to be cleansed before seeing the face of God. I’m not asking you to believe that, but just to not make public comments on Catholic beliefs because again I ask you, how do you know for sure?
@jemsmom97 where do you find purgatory in the Bible? Jesus said it is finished. We are saved by Grace through faith. Jesus is the mediator between God and man. Not a priest. I'm not bashing Catholic individuals. It's Rome that's the problem, anyway where is purgatory found in the Bible?
@jemsmom97 and I absolutely love The Chosen. I think Dallas is doing a great thing by getting the gospel out there. I wish I never saw the actor who plays Jesus kneeling next to a dead Catholic Saint, but The Chosen is an amazing Christian series.
The "Adonai El Roi" / "The God who sees me" moment between Nicodemus and his wife is brought back a little later in the episode when Jesus walks into Simon and Eden's kitchen and surprises Eden. He says to her that he knows the sacrifice she is making because of Simon's answering His call to "Follow me." Then he says to Eden, "But I SEE YOU - do you understand?" So in that moment, Jesus expressed himself as Adonai El Roi. I'm so impressed with the writing in this series!
I missed that one completely. Did you catch the “Dad Joke” in the wedding scene? When Jesus walked out of what looked like the bathroom he made a comment back into the room as he walked away about Frogs, something like watch out for the Frogs in there or get those Frogs out of there. The Frog joke is a reference to a fart 💨 how a Dad would say they stepped on a Frog LOL!!
I’m having my bone biopsy done tomorrow and I pray he sees me. I’m a 14 year breast cancer survivor. Adononai 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I prayed with you. Thank you Brandon
I was saved when I was a very young child! I remember holding on to the pue for 3 Sundays in a row, I was so terrified to go forward; alone, but desperating needing to meet my Lord! I have prayed this prayer several times, and each time my spirit is renewed! Thank you for this Sermon! You have filled my heart with joy, security for the future with Christ, and such happiness that I could dance here and now and I am in a wheelchair! I watch you each time that I see your reaction! You are a captivating speaker and I always feel better after hearing your lesson! Thank you again for making OUR LORD'S words and life seem present in our very difficult times! You make everyday better when I find a new lesson!
Brandon I have never heard anyone explain the Gospel like you. I have been a Christian for over 50 years and this is marvelous what God is doing thru Yourself and The Chosen. God has truly raised a standard. Thank you so much and Many Blessings.
I been a Christian all of my life, but as I get older I see his plan for us. This show has open up and explains more. Yes I prayed your prayer, because I have grown in faith more and I have surrendered to God.Amen 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for another insightful analysis. The Chosen crew should incorporate your videos into the show (with your permission, of course) or feature you on their website. It would be such a blessing to the people watching The Chosen who are not as versed in the scriptures. Thank you for your faithfulness to God and the Great Commission. May He bless you, your loved ones, and your ministry.
@Jens Randolff You’re awesome! Thank you so much for those kind words and for your support. It would definitely be cool if the creators of the show saw these videos. Who knows? Maybe some day 🙂
I prayed with you today. Thank you for your teachings. I have been watching them for a long time and have watched some of them a second time. God bless.
Brandon, I don’t know where you came from, but I am so much enjoying your critiques and lessons on The Chosen. It is so richly done that I watch them repeatedly to absorb all the goodness of them. Your videos enrich them even more as you break down things we wouldn’t know from ordinary Bible study. Thank you for all the excellent teaching,!
I noticed that, and were surprised how Dallas and the writers of the chosen included that, and it was beautiful how it's compared to our struggles today. They took time to include Hagar; for God saw her.👍❤️.
I've prayed that prayer before and I prayed it again. I'm so broken. I'm trusting Jesus to heal me and every part of my life. I long to see Him. To look in His eyes. To sit at His feet. I pray each night for Him to visit me in my dreams. I long to be with Him. Oh how I long for my Jesus!
Brandon, I fully agree with CandidWords comment. While I have been enjoying The Chosen series since it began, you have made it much easier by explaining the language, culture, the covenant, etc. Thank you 😊
Brandon,I can listen to you speak all day. You help me to understand the history, passages and people of biblical times. Thank you for all that you do. I also prayed the prayer with you. May God bless you and your family.🙏
My name is Angela and I am a woman and I was and raised Catholic in north Italy and I am very excited to learn as much as IA an on the Jesus that I was taught to know and mention only a couple of times a year which I never felt was right. Now as an adult I CHOOSE to follow Jesus and want to LEARN as much as possible about the creator and the one I loved and defended my whole life against all the ones that I around and inally gave up on me and let me be who I wanted learning to accept me as a true believer that don't care bout what others think of me being this way and love God this way. THANK YOU for doing what you do teaching us and sharing the word of Jesus in the bible. Angela Umbria, Italy
❤I said the prayer with You Brandon❤ THANK YOU so much 😊 That was Awesome❤ I LOVE Jesus 🤩😊💗💗💗♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I have Always Loved and will Always LOVE ❤️ Our Father Jesus and The Holy Spirit 🤩 I feel much closer NOW since I started watching the Chosen ❤and YOU have helped me also with understanding and you are a special person ( I can tell ) ✌🏻♥️ I’ll be watching and learning 🤩 Thank You, Jesus BrendaBaron
Grafted is also doing some outstanding reviews from a Messianic Jewish perspective with a lot of insight on first century Jewish culture. It is always pleasing when they say that the Chosen got some specific details right :)
Been a Christian for 50 years. Am realizing these days how much bitterness, resentment and anger i have started carting around. Please pray for healing of my emotions and total surrender.
I pray God’s continued anointing on you and your ministry. I see in you the generational continuation of the power of the Gospel. I pray the supernatural protection and provision over your life. You will grow old with the words of Life on your lips.
Myself and my family love your insight and teaching - it’s our guide as we go through this wonderful Chosen experience. Thank you for your passion and knowledge about The Word. You are loved.
Thank you for your Ministry Brandon. I let Jesus into my life aged 14 (I'm now 56) But I have only been a practising Christian for the last 3 and half years, thanks to God leading me to our local Methodist Church, where I was baptised (full immersion) What an experience that was, I felt so alive & the Holy Spirit was overflowing within me. Ive just prayed that beautiful prayer with you - thank you so much. I'm cuŕrently following your 'Beyond The Words' series. It is so inspiring and thought provoking, and is teaching me so very much. Godbless you Brandon, for sharing God's Word with us. Love Lynda xx
ADONAI EL ROI I prayed the prayer I do want to serve our Lord IESOUS with all my heart and all my soul and and mind help me so I can continue to walk in the path of Our Lord thank you for sharing the word of the Lord God bless you and your family
The first mention of the word “well” the place where they get water is, in Hagar’s story. The last mention of the word “well” is in the story of the Samaritan woman. Two gentile woman that met Jesus. These two stories are so connected.
Thanks for the commentary, Brandon. I always look forward to your insights. There have been so many scenes in the Chosen that have made me cry. The woman at the well was one of the first. What I love about this show is how they include women as strong important characters. We are represented as part of the fabric, not just a side comment. I had never put together that Jesus' first miracle and his first reveal as the Messiah were because of women. Makes me smile!
I learn so much from you about the Gospel and my savior. Keep up the good job, my brother, ill look forward to all your videos. May God bless you. BRANDON
I prayed that beautiful prayer with you too, even tho I've been a Christian for over 70 years. I felt I hadn't surrendered all of the areas of my life. Bless you for giving us the opportunity.
Thank you so much for putting this on you tube I love what you talk about and you don't make it hard for me to understand I know I a long way to go but I thank Jesus for being with me
I prayed and everytime its new. 🙏 I am imperfect and am not worthy but my love for Jesus is. But I struggle from attacks everyday and feel very tired. I also cannot find a local church that is authentic to me, i feel judged, unsupported and unworthy as i dont fit into there clicks either they where born into that church or a pastors child you get the picture, there is an overwhelming welcome for a week or 2 and thats it. But Jesus is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow and i continue to love him even if i don't have a church home.
Brandon, I have been working on that healing for 2 years. When the one party has changed so much that she doesn't want a "healing" unless I take responsibility for the chasm. I have spoken with a minister and a therapist. Both feel it will create a setback in my work on overcoming depression and anxiety. But, I keep praying 🙏
I walked in the evening down the road on 5th July this year and said to Jesus looking in the sky: Please Lord save me. At that moment I felt like the Holy Ghost was coming into me and I knew, that I am safe in the hands of the Lord. Incredible to explain it in words. I read the Bible and pray for years, but I have to completely surrender my life to Jesus and let everything go and trust him comepletely, believing the Word and not just intellectually affirming. That’s the huge difference between being religious and a follower of Jesus. You depend on Jesus. In a way it is really scary, but you feel so free. Believing means trusting in the Lord.
I absolutely love it when you point out details that are easily missed and the explanations that follow. This brings both your "The Chosen" series and my Bible to life! Thank you! Keep it up for every season, please!
@@BrandonRobbinsMinistry Yes, I would love you to pray for me and many more hearts, who needs the healing touch of our Lord Jesus. Thank you, keep me in your prayers .God bless you too abundantly.AMEN AMEN 🙏 Stay safe and blessed 🙏 🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹
I have been a Christian ✝️ since I was a little girl . I thought I was saved . But I have realized just lately . I haven't given my hole heart until now . I prayed 🙏 that prayer with you .I want every part of my life to belong to Jesus.
One of the many things I love about The Chosen is that it doesn't dumb down the Bible, but instead incorporates events and culture to give depth to the story. Also, developing characters that we can relate to... Mary of Magdala backslides (relevant to nearly everyone), Little James waiting on his healing, Eden asking when her miracle will come, Nicodemos not content with rules and custom.
I prayed with you just now 🙏🏽🙏🏽and I loved season 1 … I surrender to Yahweh in his Precious Son Name Jesus Christ I Plee the blood of Jesus Christ Help me Savior I plee the blood of Jesus Christ my name is Regina Fontenot Thomas I reside in Lake Charles Louisiana and Im eager to learn and study 📖 Christ i pray 🙏🏽 also that I hear 👂 his voice 🙏🏽🙏🏽in Jesus Christ Name all the Glory Be To The Savior
Thankyou for this series and for that beautiful prayer at the end. I found the chosen right before I lost a very dear and close childhood friend at 33 years old by tragic circumstance. I had bad church experiences bc I questioned and was rejected by my minister for asking those questions. I thought this series would be interesting in a fictional type of way but never expected to fall in love with it to find beautiful truth that speaks to me..and made me want to read the scrolls of Isaiah and Moses and the book of genesis .. the 5 gospels.. I bought the 1st cross necklace I've had since I was a young child of 10 or 12 years old rejected for asking questions therefore rejecting my church and beliefs as "blind faith" and "a book just meant to be taken figuratively" I fully rejected the idea of a God. Then likeni said, I found this show and it impacted me so much I called my mom and she cried bc her baby girl was once again "saved" at the age of 30. I believe that I saw miracles as nonsensical which is the point I understand now. That's why they're miracles bc they defeat the laws of nature. Thats why faith is important.. bc whoever believes in christ our lord is saved and redeemed .. like he mentioned to Thomas. "You have seen and so you believe but blessed are those who have not seen and yet still believe " (sorry if this is off, im paraphrasing here) but my Point is that I watched one episode of this show and it opened something in me that I've held shut and held down so tightly. Then all those feelings hit me again. A miracle. Then I found you. Another miracle. Another channel to help me understand things I didn't understand the context of my whole 30 years of life. I appreciate this channel and what you do so much. I prayed your prayer. I screenshotted it and I will hang it in my home once I paint the words onto a wooden plack ? I guess is the word. And ill be able to see it enough everyday to get myself to memorize it from here on out. Thankyou again. God bless you and your family.
What a wonderful story of how God has been at work in your life. I'm so glad you have returned to Christ and that your relationship with him is growing in such wonderful ways! Praise God! I love that you prayed the prayer. Please let me know if there are ways I can be praying for you.
I love your prayer! Thank you so much for sharing it. I also wanted to thank you for sharing the scene where Peter’s mother in law was healed. I’ve seen it before but this time is really driven home, that first Jesus turns to his Heavenly Father before he heals her. What a wonderful acknowledgment of who he is!
@@BrandonRobbinsMinistry I would hope you and you many follower could pray for me and every other als patients got ask our lord to help doctors to have the ability to find the keys toward als cure. And that our LORD JESUS CHRIST looks after me.
Will you do a teaching on the deaths of the 12 apostles ? It's not a pleasant subject, but it would show the depths of belief and loyalty they had for Jesus. I have never seen nor heard this subject discussed. The question came to mind, so I researched it. Thanks 🌷
Your videos are insightful and inspiring. Having already seen how the journey into Samaria plays out in Season 2, your comments on the hatred toward Samaritans adds even more depth and amazement when reflecting on how Jesus took his bidding ministry straight to Samaria. Thank you for your teachings!!
I am at the end of my journey now and am being called to leave behind all I have and trust Him to bring me where I need to be. I liked the prayer and have followed God but not without serious mistakes. He is the God who sees me and I am His, completely.
