You are on the right path, but there may be more to think about? The Pharisees??? They were the biblically educated! They studied and yet they were wrong! Why? What did they miss? You are supposed to have communicated first with Brandon, I think, in private. If you cannot resolve the conflict, you may consult with someone else, preferably an elder or deacon in your church. If you both agree that Brandon includes “a subtle push away from Christianity and toward Marxism”, I am also convinced that Marxism is not just any ole philosophy. During the Civil War here, I was afraid the military would come (They had come once and the lady who worked for me was scared not to open the door to them.) again and find the books my husband had been told to buy while studying business administration at the national university. I burned the two books about Marxism even though I was less conservative then than I am now. I understand your concern but have listened carefully to Brandon’s teaching as well as The Chosen and I don’t really agree with your critique.
