John is actually really good-looking

Having watched this interview very late in the game, I have to say, my favorite scene with George is when John is beginning to write down the thoughts of others for his Gospel. His relationship with Mother Mary after Jesus had gone back to heaven was just so tender.

He has no idea what a privilege to portray John, he was Jesus' best friend, he will basically be in every scene in the future

George has such expressive and Beautiful eyes. I love the scene of Simon and John when Simon was angry with Jesus. He was always trying to make simon come to his senses.

YESHUA meets us where we are to lift us up to where HE is.

Love the leper scene too! My heart was wrenched! Phenomenal acting.

My favorite scene with John is the juxtaposition of John 1 and Genesis 1. That was one beautiful scene, especially since they are both my favorite scriptures! How lovely! Brought me to tears!

I believe that the casting of characters in The Chosen is perfection. I love John in the scene in the Temple when Jesus is reading the beginning of the 1st scroll. Tears are running down his face. And you can hear the words he later writes in the Gospel of John. It is as if we are living it with them.

I've been studying scriptures since I was a child and what God has been showing me in my heart and mind all these years. I've waiting for this

George is so cool and gentlemen in this interview 😍 . But behind the scene, the way he talk,facial expression are very funny. 😂 He really fits the role of John, like the bromance with big James. The acting at the leper scene ,miracle of fish (nice visual effect 😂) came out very naturally and brings such emotions of happiness. Wow, Didn't notice the book while watching the Chosen, very nice detail, can't wait to see more role of The One Who Jesus loves...😍 Thanks Darren, for revealing so many beautiful pictures behind the The Chosen series..

Another incredible interview! George your portrayal of John is pure perfection. I loved the scene of Jesus healing the leper as well, really touched my heart. Simon falling to his knees in front of Jesus and Jesus kneeling down to say "Follow Me", Simon with no hesitation "I will"...such a beautiful and powerful moment. Every actor in The Chosen is truly anointed for the character they play.

This is going to be a looooong series because there is a long list of the Chosen who were martyred for the sake of our Lord throughout history up to now.

I love that John wears his emotions on his sleeve but you do an amazing job at this and his vulnerability yet admiration and love for Jesús. The scene where you are listening to Jesus reading in the synagogue and you are overcome by emotion was just beautiful!!

I tried so hard to see one episode at a time so it would last but I couldn't !!!!! I had to see all the episodes. So now I'm just watching them again and again... God bless you all.

Trying to choose a 'favorite ', character is like a loving parent choosing a favorite child. Impossible. Each if these marvelous actors compliment one another. Thankful for THE CHOSEN !!!

I'll tell you. This guy does a great John. He changes his accent so well and he just he. He does so good as John. I couldn't picture him doing anything. Else and John I love him with his beard. Oh, he needs to grow his beard out for real. He looks really good with a beard just saying but yeah, this. I love everyone in the chosen. I just absolutely love. Everyone it is such a good show. And it's what brought me to Christ. It literally is what brought me to Christ. I can't. I can't even really speak right now. But it did a lot for me and a lot of other people.

Last night I watched the interview with Shaan Sharma (Shmuel), by Timothy Ratajczak and said it was the best interview I had ever seen. Well, I am going to quit ranking any of these. This is equal. These actors are highly intuitive and are articulating extremely complex matters in very insightful and reachable ways for us. May the Lord bless each one - actors, support staff on sets and all production, investors, interviewers, all viewers and fans ... and those who haven't entered these waters yet!

Good interview George ! Yes you get family feeling when you watch , The Chosen. As you see alittle bit of some one you know that acts a you do. 2000 years ago yet human behavior has not changed much in 2022, then you have remant of believer s that hold on the faith and inspiring the others they can have same spirit and holy spirit guidence as well. Jesus Christ empowers those that least likely to be the leadership as He chose them to be as they are and development of leadership occurs and matures. As they witness the Miracles as His life is shared with them. Each of them has a gift to share with others. Sooo COOL!

Great interview with John the acter , George and commentator. Gradittide as well. Yes, The Chosen very impactful in watching and listening too. As a faith based tv show . Something there for everyone. As God's love is exposed to others with truth and with actress and actress s that make Bible story come alive in a different perspective that have never been done before. As God is progressive and on going know the past present and future. The Alpha and Omega. Iam amazed by this . Why ?? Why not!! God is good in Jesus Christ name. Why not share about the almighty . You have a opportunity to know about Him Jesus Christ more in documentary way yet with some examples how it could have been. Timeless!! Human life is so powerful with it's compassion and healing and love for one another. Freedom of being who you are meant to be. As Romans suppressor occured yet people lived life to the fullest by knowing more about their God. Their creator. Such a blessing for young and mature women and men to view in their own homes. At their convince . So see God is good!! He wants you to choose , know He's there for You as an individual. So relatable . And inspiring. I felt lead to share my opinion today. Thank you Jesus Christ for media gifts to us to use and respond to. As you lead with the Holy Spirit which is God power of love!

Wow - I learned something new! I had not noticed that John was carrying a journal while they team was walking. So inspired to have this simple prop to show that he was ready to take notes anytime just like he did when he was listening to Jesus and Nicodemus.

The Chosen is an incredible,incredible series and for myself and my friends who watch are totally overwhelmed with the reality of Our Lord Jesus Christ,l,,,His human and well as his supernatural nature comes so thru on this program,, and i think to myself,,,imagine what heaven will be like,,,when we are given thru this series a surefire glimpse of Him on earth,,,,,,it's up there with Passion of the Christ,,,,totally mesmerizing,,we watch season 1 over and over and can't wait for Season 2 and i hope it goes on and on to Season 202...i guarantee you,, None of us will ever tire watch as His presence is so gloriously and meiticulously present in Season 1 and i'm sure will be so as you go to Series 2,,,A gift from on High...Maybe one day, each series can be presented as a Movie in a theatre near you,, The movie like the series would be totally irresistable,,,

Hola George , GREAT interview yes I agree to what you mentioned about perception as I watched your interaction with Jesus' aka Jonathan with you as John . You make your passion shown and get correction but in love at times people get corrected they don't accept it yet you see that Jesus corrects and then puts his hands on your shoulders let's keep on going. Send down fire and and consume these people hahaha he laughs and uses his brotherhood to not hold bad feelings against Him. I've been there done that. Yet God's loving ways always prevails. I can't keep upset for long like it was done for my betterment. Life goes on. Tears come and go. Smiles appears. Rejoice! So your acting is so powerful very gifted. What people forget is that God know EVEN how many hair's you have on your head, THAT is how much HE LOVES YOU and JUST how close HE IS to everyone and like it's said here about when Yeshosua called Simon, and Simon fall on his knees and he, Johanathan go down on his knees as well..... It's very very TRUE that, ALTHOUGH HE IS GOD AND THE KING OF kings and LORD of lords, HE LOVEEEEEEEEE "going down " to one's level, like a perant playing with their kid's - and THAT is what it means when He say HE wants a personal relationship with you , THAT is something that makes me feel safe in way's that lack word's!!! I had SO many visions seeing HIM DO things that no one will belive HE will do, but yet HE showed me - just ONE of THE many many reasons I JUST LOVEEEEEEEEE HIM !!! Gospel of John, last chapter (21) 153 fish, and it was the 2nd miraculous catch of fish, after Jesus' resurrection when he appeared on the shore and talked to them while they were out in the boat. They'd been out all night and caught nothing. This time the net did not tear, whereas the 1st time the nets did begin to tear. The 1st time is recorded in the Gospel of Luke. There is no number given that time, just "such a large number of fish."

The healing of the leper was intense and when Jesus asks for a new cloak, the disciples enthusiastically tear through their bags. Jesus turns around and chuckles saying he only needed one...disciples response...wide eyed oh yeah yeah...such comic relief...😉
