Jesus did tell Kafni that He asks a lot of those who follow Him and little from those who don't. As sad as it is, tragedy and death happen with even us Christians. If y'all would, it's approaching the one year mark for one of my best friends' dad passing away, please pray over him. That date is the 21st and I know it's hard for him.

It's BS and it turned me off from the fictional series, I might tune in for the crucifixion because if anybody deserved it was this adaption of this Christ. In this fictional account Jesus whips, everyone into a fury then losing control of the momentum where an innocent woman dies, that jesus "The Son of God/God" himself won't heal her. No wonder the Pharisees thought he was Magi/Necromancer. I'll be waiting for a series that explores the life of the Buddha. Just my two cents worth.

I like it. Sadly, the life of the first christians was very hard with many persecutions. All the apostles gave their lives for God. And in a horrible way. So I see it as a way to prepare them for the future...

It would be interesting to see if Ramah will be one of those who are raised when the tombs open after the resurrection. However, that would be a stretch since that reference was about the tombs around Jerusalem.

Kafni seemed momentarily surprised that a Roman killed his daughter, but he was engulfed in primal grief and rage. He focuses everything including the abyss of hate on vengeance. This is the opposite of Jesus’s perspective, and I do wonder if he’ll embellish testimony at Jesus’s trial. “Z” has become the epitome of self-control hasn’t he?

Right. Z shows that we have to confront people and situations sometimes, but in a kind and firm way. I loved seeing that balance we're supposed to have with people as followers. But, we'll still see imperfection from Z and the rest of the apostles as we get closer to Jesus' death. All of them except for John desert Jesus as He goes to the Cross. It'll be interesting to see how they portray that.

no i think he was more shocked that thimas had the nerve to talk to him like that cz im guessing sine hes an elder he never raised his voice at him nor talked back to him

"Z" was very controlled and protective of Jesus-But he would NOT have allowed any more words or actions from Kafni--I think Kafni was Stopped in his tracks."Enough was enough. Proud of Simon Z. oxoxoxoxo

Kafni's grief as a father is understandable, even his cursing condonable.....hope he sees sense somewhere down the line, repents and converts.....

Ramah's death is the beginning of Thomas doubting. I do hope they write Ramah being resurrected after the Resurrection of Jesus. It seems only right after so much grief.

There is a reason why we should not add fiction to the truth. Every event is so significant. Adding this was so disturbing.

I totally get where Kafni is coming from, it's devastating to lose a daughter (or son). This is extreme grief having so many 'If only's - mainly if only everyone had done as he said.
