Jesus arriving in Bethany for the resurrection of Lazarus - The Chosen Season 4 Ep 7  

Gospel of John 11:17-35 17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Then Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You." 23 Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." 24 Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." 25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Deci, venind, Iisus l-a găsit pus de patru zile în mormânt. 18. Iar Betania era aproape de Ierusalim, ca la cincisprezece stadii. 19. Şi mulţi dintre iudei veniseră la Marta şi Maria ca să le mângâie pentru fratele lor. 20. Deci Marta, când a auzit că vine Iisus, a ieşit în întâmpinarea Lui, iar Maria şedea în casă. 21. Şi a zis către Iisus: Doamne, dacă ai fi fost aici, fratele meu n-ar fi murit. 22. Dar şi acum ştiu că oricâte vei cere de la Dumnezeu, Dumnezeu îţi va da. 23. Şi Iisus i-a zis: Eu sunt învierea şi viaţa; cel ce crede în Mine, chiar dacă va muri, va trăi. 26. Şi oricine trăieşte şi crede în Mine nu va muri în veac. Crezi tu aceasta? 27. Zis-a Lui: Da, Doamne. Eu am crezut că Tu eşti Hristosul, Fiul lui Dumnezeu, Care a venit în lume

Now that makes sense why Thomas is not happy. Great camera move to switch to him during that line. Jesus did not resurrect or save Ramah. Why Thomas would doubt or be skeptical or pathetic at the other disciples account of jesus being risen. Like Eden with miscarrying or The other James living with his infirmity. Why does Jesus heal some and not others when you have a relationship with him and have seen his power.
