I struggle, similarly to how Matthew is portrayed in this series. Not exactly, of course, but in a real way. I struggle with emotions... EQ... but, this show moves me like very few others have. I give thanks to God for this show. These actors. The writers, and all those who are a part of making this show happen. \o/

I just love the man that plays Mathew in this movie. He's an amazing actor to say the least along with everyone else in these series. I'm learning how Mathew probably really was back then and how must have been when Jesus chose him. Incredible movies the chosen, love all of it.

The scene of him meeting Quintus for the first time is just gold. Gaius is this tough guy responsible for keeping order in an occupied city and yet he's so scared out of his wits he keeps trying to walk away. And in the end it all turns out to be unnecessary because Matthew is just too straightforward and literal-minded and much too dang lucky!

Only Jesus can forgive our all sins..how great promise we have. ..such a beautiful God we serve..

The man that plays matthew is a wonderful actor, I see a bright future for him.

I actually like Gaius. He likes Matthew, and misses him.

Matthew is one of the more surprised Disciples when Jesus called Him. But as we have seen 1of the more educated. Being the assistant for/to Jesus in writing the Beatitudes is proof of that. He was probably one of the best in writing about the life of Jesus

Hes not my favorite calling, but defintely my favorite story line. i love everything about his story, The Chosen has made every characters exciting, but having someone like Matthew with legs on each side of the fence is amazing to watch. i love Quintus, hes such a perfect character for that role.

Mathew had a photographic memory he looked at the map on quintus wall which Jesus later on asked Mathew to draw directions so people can find his location easily. With the map in his mind he knew where they were.

(probably) Levi means ATTACHED or JOIN UNTO ME as what Leah the wife of Jacob said in Gen.29:34 Levi or Matthew dissappointed his family. As the name Levi that is connected to the priesthood he should be serving at the Table of God and not at the table or at the receipt of custom of the Roman Empire. Levi was ATTACHED or had JOINED in the Roman Government. His talent in Mathematics served the wrong God. As he is collecting Taxes to expand the kingdom of Rome. Levi was disowned by his family and hated in community Jesus called LEVI the son of Alphaeus "Follow me" in Mark 2:14 Jesus connected him back to his root as a Hebrew when Jesus mentioned the name of his father Alphaeus. (in this movie) ALPHAEUS in Hebrew is Cheleph. Cheleph means CHANGE. Jesus wanted him to CHANGE and be reconciled back to his father, family, community and to his origin. Young Matthew ❤️ from being a tax collector, to becoming a disciple of Jesus then a writer of gospel. I can actually understand from their point of view why Matthew is hated. Tax collectors have always been hated since time and memorial, they're known to be very corrupt, dishonest and greedy. Trivia about Matthew: he's good in mathematics 😁 Trivia: he is also the first apostle of Jesus to be shown here 😁

Matthew proves he is very smart even though his handicap, but, when will he be healed? He is walking with the Master, the Healer Himself! Is this sending a message that handicaps (autistics) can’t be healed by Jesus?
