UUUUGH they’re just so LOCKED IN!!! All those little rubato moments at the end of phrases are totally together. All the freak out, “messy” phrases are so unhinged without them losing each other. They’re kind of the dream.

I saw them in OKC in 2015 not knowing who they were, and they were absolutely amazing live! They completely outplayed of Montreal. They made them look horrible and as if of Montreal was the opening band instead. After that show I stopped being a fan of the band of Montreal.

@@halfeatenpizza11 four band members living in three separate states. Record all they want, when it comes time to tour it’s easier to play the same-old, same-old than practice new material. You can get angry about it, but it’s weird because you’re not in Deerhoof.
