After a night out with friends in Plano, Texas, Christina Morris vanished. She had been walking to her car with another person from the party, Enrique Arochi. Arochi's lies don't last long, as he had a number of contradictions in his story about that walk. But he never admitted to taking her.

I don't know why Americans always have to be so stupid and simple minded. Just because someone is talking about a killer and the "spotlight" is on him / her, doesn't mean people are treating them like some celebrity or a person who has done something great. And having a "spotlight" doesn't always mean that it "encourages" others. Most of the times, it actually discourages people because they start thinking about the shame it will cause them and their family if they are ever caught for something like that, with everyone despising them. In a story told, people always remember the key characters. So they WILL remember the victim. And analysing the killer can often lead to people coming up with preventive measures and counter measures.

@redheadwithafierytemper5668
I have personally been involved with the search for two missing women. The first one the murderer happened to be a friend I grew up with. Searching for someone missing is always hard. However having a former friend be the reason for her not only going missing but for murdering her in such a brutal way changes you. I still feel horrible for once being friends with someone could do what he did. The other missing person turned out to be a murder victim as well but she was able to criticality wound him when was about 50% the reason he was found. And unfortunately he qualifies as a serial killer. I just don't know how anyone can take someone else's life unless they were defending themselves or a loved one. They are sickening and shouldn't get to draw another breath.

Not always tho… I was talking to my friend today about her dad and I go “OMG your dad was always so funny. He always made me laugh”. And then later on I realized I was talking about her dad in the past tense (and he’s alive). But for whatever reason I was talking about him in past tense because I was thinking about his past actions when I said it. So yea, talking about someone in past tense doesn’t always have some deep meaning.
@maria2009m
@maria2009m 2 года назад
@@whitneyangelie3682 so her dad was funny one day and not the next? In that case you have a very valid point. If you laughed back then and now, then he IS funny (even if its at old memories because its current at the time).. If you are laughing about old GONE memories that "WAS" funny, you are referring to the memory as being "was" not her dad.. BUT, Please don't justify for this jerk, you look bad.. If he WAS with her last then she would still BE an aqantinace if he left her alive unless they ended friendship that night, in that case their friendship would be in the past tense.. Then one must ask if you were with her what led to the end of your friendship last night and furthermore where is she now? The fact he saw her last and was friendly doesn't say WAS an aqantinace, it say "Is" an aqantinace. But the fact his friendly ass saw her last then said she "WAS" an aqantinace does scream he did something to cause her to go from "IS" to "WAS" or he know someone who did.

Like I said I realized later that I talked about him in past tense and thought it was kinda weird….And I’m actually NOT taking up for this guy (he’s probably guilty af) But you made a blanket statement about the reasonings people talk about someone in past tense- as if it ALWAYS means they killed the person (or are privy to it). In many southern states they have very limited number of appeals and laws in place so you have 5 yrs or less from sentence to execution date to ease the burden on the state and I wish it were this way in every state. Having monsters sit on death row wasting 50k tax dollars a year for 15-40+ years is a HUGE drain and waste of resources. Texas and Florida have an express lane to make sure these degenerates are put down as fast as possible as they are no longer human once they commit these crimes. The only issue I have with capital punishment is that it doesn't apply to sexual predators as well. I believe anyone found guilty of doing anything to kids for example should get the needle as fast as possible as well.

I've seen several true crime stories where the victims had a fear of being raped/kidnapped. I think those who have those fears feel powerless about it and predators can sniff this out. All women should keep a weapon on them so they don't project fear.

From another commentator a little bit down - "OK so as embarrassing as it is to say, the jar with the oil and weird spices in it does sound like a real thing. In a lot of Latin American cultures we have different forms of brujería, witchcraft, and the little jars hold spells. The ones like this are meant to smell sweet to attract love. Whether or not it was actually one of those love spell jars, and whether or not it was his, obviously are a separate question. But that is a real thing."

He says "In fact, I am one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet", who says this about themselves? That is a tell right there. It is out of place in the context of what is going on. Already been proven that cameras show he was lying about where the car was parked and when he left.

@@samshaffer2250 I started a part time job with a large company. I met a young lady who said "I am the easiest person to get along with here". I thought this an odd statement. In a couple of months she had me handing in my termination letter. I found out she was mentally handicapped. Her boyfriend worked in the store as well. He and his friends set up practical jokes. I choose to leave rather than take on a handicapped person. They have loads of cameras but there would be no satisfaction taking on this young person. The practical jokes started when she was not there, she had very few hours in a week. I did not respond to the jokes, so they stepped it up non stop. It's a big place and I could not see all of the floor from my work station.

Never worked on a car before, or even changed a " tire" have you? There is a thing that is metal attached to the tire, it's called the wheel. There is also another metal part, that the thing called a wheel attaches to. It is called a rotor. What's more, there are metal studs that protrude out from the rotor, and those are called lugs. Crushed my middle finger once working at a "rubber" tire shop, between the wheel and the rotor when it slipped off of my foot while removing it. 🤣 Think before you speak. With that said. Do I think he did it? Probably. Was there enough evidence in this case to convict him? Absolutely not. There was a ton of reasonable doubt, and an incredibly incompetent Police department.

I think that's the reason many of us are interested in true crime. How can anyone do this crap to another living being? I feel it's a combination of things that are entwined in these psycho's heads; power being the foremost reason. That's why so many victims are women, children and animals. ✌😸
