Chromaticism is a great way to spice up your music and step outside of simple Diatonic chords/scales.
The Chromatic II V, what is it exactly? How does it work? It’s actually quite simple, and it’s a really cool sound, but if you’re not familiar with it it can be a cause of great confusion when trying to analyze a tune. In this lesson, I go over Chromatic Sequences of Harmony, in particular, the II V7.
