I remember dancing to them while they were singing when I was a kid : ) , but once time when the curtains were closed I looked up under there and it scared the crap out of me!! They looked all freaky looking in the dark.
Chuck E. Cheese was originally called "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre" when Nolan Bushnell originally set up the company as a franchise. The name was changed to just Chuck E Cheese when a new owner took over and decided all CEC's would be company owned. Older CEC's that were under the original franchise agreement probably still have the animatronic band. The company owned stores figured they were too high maintenance & expensive to put in the new CEC's
I hate audience participation. We don't have Chuck E. Cheeses where I come from, but my heart goes out to all the poor American parents who have to sing along with this. I feel for you. In my gut.
@blueangel674 I know right! I always looked when the curtains closed to see what happends, I remember one time when one of the curtains were closed and I was just sitting in there and all of the suddon it started up and talking and stuff ad the curtains opend up, it scared me lol.
@PhatKatJackie364542 Yeh its at 0:11. Whoever put that moustache on Pasqually DEFIANTLY did NOT put it on properly. Its supposed to wiggle. But i cant see that guy who put the moustache on Pasqually ever putting pictures on peoples walls!!!!!!! LOL!
lol these guys freaked me out as a kid too, I really thought they were fucking real. Wow, time can sure do a lot to the mind. This, and the movie Little Monsters, just FREAKED MY MIND OUT OF WACK.
It has now been a couple of days and I still laugh so hard at this comment, I can really imagine myself doing it, man than you for brightening my days :)
@singalongsong35 LOL, yeah these are most likely older cosmetics on him (masks), which make him look more Barney like. I can see where you're going with the purple and the scariness, etc. LOL.
I went to a b-day party yesterday and was dissapointed that they took all the anamtronics out. Now they have these stupid video screens up. They did have this one Chuck E Cheese robot, and the kids were more interested in that than the stupid video display because you could actually touch it and it moved. .
Chuck E. Cheese is like a gangster casino for five year olds. I once saw a few pimps selling tickets by the freeway. I heard the tickets were fake though...
like i said about the three stage ones how come when all the charaters are together the machine chuck e looks nothing like him while one stage ones like the one in hobart look more like him than ever
I remember when I was little it was my sisters birthday so I was like Idk like 3 years old and my sister didn't like birthday song so she went up stage. And started beating up chuck E. Cheese along a group of other kids at her party. I didn't join them because I was scared of him he scared me when I was little.
dunno, last time I was at a Chuck-E-Cheese, was for a birthday party.. I just was REALLY tempted on stinking up the place (with stink bombs, and liquid ASS) :&. I would of, if it weren't for A little sister in law of mine (the birthday girl)whom wanted to of linger around due to an indecision of what crappy prize(s) she wanted for her tickets won. I guess Chuck-e got off easy that day. :P ROTFL!
+Chris Hansen This is very similar to the Chuck E. Cheese that used to be in Chico. It closed in 2011 because the owners lost there franchise because they could not update the things that needed to be updated. It closed in January of 2011. It was replaced as a place called Fun Zone and Pizza. The pizza tasted better and they kept all of the video games. On the stage they now just have card board cut out figures that are not even animatronics.
are all the characters voices pre-rended, or someone is actually manually speaking from a speaking device like a walki-talki in the bots, or are they capable of interact with these kind of situations ? it's just a question beacause they looks like if they are actually reacting by themselves, also the italian pizza guy's mustache is about to fall off X)
Their voice actors record their voices and then they edit the audio and footage clips together onto a DVD and ship them out to all CEC locations. The animatronics have signals like for example, if one of them is supposed to talk, the mouth signal will turn on.
Hell yeah, there's just something erie about that place-- not sure if its their super overpriced mediocre pizza or that damn bird thing and Pasqualle. -.-
