R.I.P Barry thank you for the memories and countless hours of laughter just a privilege to have witnessed two funny entertainers doing what they done best making people laugh
Had the pleasure of meeting these legends back in 2015. Two of the nicest and most down to earth people you could ever come across. Never felt so comfortable speaking to people I'd never met. Felt like I had known them for decades
Really sad to have lost Barry. I feel really sad for Paul as well, he's going to try and carry on as that's what Barry wanted, but honestly I think he will find it difficult.
Your family in the past mum dancer dad comedian two brothers double act sister dancer in your heart rest in peace to Berry and Jimmy Paul I am sorry for your loss
Paul and Barry had family life with their mum and dad and two brothers Jimmy and Brian one sister and cbeebies legend Chris amy Elliott dancer James Elliott comedian
Barry's brother Paul has been busy on the interview circuit saying how incredibly close they were..."We were so close, as close as any siblings could be" blah blah blah, "the very best pals" etc. and yet he didn't even know that Barry had been diagnosed with bone cancer with metastatic lung disease YEARS AGO - until TWO MONTHS before his death, he simply thought that Barry had sciatica! - However, their elder brother Jimmy aged 86 said “We are all devastated. Barry had bone cancer which had spread to his lungs....“he was ill for years, but kept it hidden. WE KNEW ABOUT IT, BUT KEPT IT QUIET, and all the family are really hurting right now.” Hmm - "As close as any siblings could be" indeed!
That's why he didn't tell him, because they were so close. Because he wanted to work until he passed away, and knew that if he told people how sick he was then everyone would have told him to stop working. Don't you dare assume things you don't understand.
@N G S - Rather pathetic, don't you think? You clicked on a chuckle brothers video just to make a comment like that? Not much going on in your life, I'm guessing.
Lots of people found him hilarious including me. It's okay if you don't like him, but there really is no need to go around making shitty heartless comments like that, especially at a time when lots of people were still grieving too.
