Despite his crazy behavior, you can tell he’s affectionate, he’s just got a weird way of showing it and his form of play appears vicious but he doesn’t seem to be intentionally mean. And his owners clearly love him for him despite his weirdness and initial scary appearance. It’s possible he’s just territorial of his owners or doesn’t like the camera on him.

Bubz is definitely a strange doggo, but I also 100% think he came from a previous abusive owner. He constantly seems to be battling between his ability to relax and accept the affection and touch of his owner(s) (especially the guy, probably not a coincidence), and the fear and aggressiveness put into him by a previous owner. You can almost see the switch in his brain flapping back and forth with how he responds to being petted and played with. He's also very instinctively protective of the girl, who I'm guessing is his actual owner if they both aren't. Mix in some general goofiness and strange sounds, and you've got Mr. Bubz the Eldritch Demon haha.
