No I think the issue is a lot of the homeless people are on the street because they want to . Where I live there are a lot of homeless people and a few are somewhat decent people who are trying. Then you have the others that are the streets due to drugs , pan handling . Those are the ones that makes people think twice about giving money to a homeless person . There is a homeless couple that stays at one of the bus stops and I truly believe it is just a circumstance for them . If I could I would offer assistance to them. They aren’t bothering anyone. They offer good conversation and they don’t beg .
@johndiddilyjoe6258
@johndiddilyjoe6258 10 дней назад
What you fail to see is that homeless people are individuals. Grouping them all under the banner of "victims of society" is something only someone who's never experienced life could think. I know personally people that would rather live on the streets than maintain a 9-5. Not just me, every grown person has met people like this, people who aren't failed by society but instead choose to reject it. You live in a fantasy land, but it seems nice.

You can't even get employment without proof of citizenship which requires proof if a permanent address to obtain so they are really fucked if they either never had access to their birth certificate and social security cards or were never issued a state ID. Add the processing fees with the cost of needing access to a phone number and internet as even most minimum wage jobs have gone to online only paperless apps... It's literally impossible employment and to get off of homelessness.

Government doesn’t regulate rents or housing sales prices, the market does. IF the government did regulate rents and sales, then we could make it more affordable. So it’s really Wall Street and individuals who own and invest and want to see the value of their property continue to rise and rise. If housing weren’t so expensive, then regular daily goods wouldn’t seem so hard to buy. That’s my take.

I've worked with homeless people and it is very difficult to find employment when you don't have the right clothes, a regular address, or a phone. People also like to stereotype a homeless people when they're just a paycheck away from being homeless. I'm a teacher and I still live below the poverty level. Luckily, I have a fiancee that is settled and I have never been on the streets. Also, the stereotypes are not always true. In Charlotte North Carolina, the homeless people chose a vacant land, cleaned it up, and made sure it stayed safe. The city suddenly came in and wanted them to move within 5 days. Suddenly, they wanted the land to build something after these homeless people took care of it and weren't in trouble and using drugs. It was one of the worst situations of government that I've ever seen.

The whole "oh but we bail out banks with my money" is probably the funniest thing I've heard all day. If the FDIC doesn't "bail out" these banks runs start to happen and the people who have the largest amounts of mom are usually always the first to be paid out when a bank goes under if it's not bailed out which creates more panic and more runs on banks which inturn causes more defaults and closers which just hurts the economy of the little people like me and you who spent our whole lives trying to have something in these banks you don't wanna bail out lol. Amazing how little people understand about the very basics of economics yet want policy change they have absolutely no idea about. 😂😂😂😂😂 and I'm sure you don't wanna hear this part but the gov pretty much pays for these people to he homeless like the guy in the video and tons of tylers previous videos the problem is addiction and mental health not a problem with being able to afford a place to stay and start to rebuild themselves

About 90% of jobs flat out won't hire you if you're homeless, you can't donate plasma for money if you're homeless, you can't do *anything.* I'm lucky to be in a shelter but not so many are. I don't do drugs, I don't drink alcohol, I was just put in an unfortunate situation. But no one sees that, they just see a homeless person. We're subhuman to the general population. It's sickening. People talk about how racism is a problem nowadays but will in the same breath treat the homeless as sub-human scum. Things need to change in America, and if they don't change the homelessness crisis is only going to keep getting worse until only the rich can afford anything anymore.

They bus them all around, they go through with garbage trucks and take all of their belongings. I've seen people almost have a place to live, new job and lose everything again because of this! I know of a 86 year old woman who is homeless and can't get id because they destroyed all of her paperwork and she doesnt have any family left to order new ones. Its so heartbreaking. Well, they're not from here, so... They came here because they heard it was the perfect place to be homeless, because for years grants pass would just let people set up tents anywhere in camp throughout the city. They didn't become unhomed here, they came here to take advantage of the taxpayers and the kindness of the residents. We have found piles of human s*** on our curb with cigarette butts poking out the top of it like it was a birthday cake, and the words f*** you smeared and feces next to it on the curb. People will break into residence cars to steal their things, sleep in it overnight, or just use it like a restroom. I was attacked by a man with a knife whose was living here homeless, and was on a myriad of drugs, and had just been released from prison over stabbing someone, and wanted to go back in, so he used attacking me as a way to do that. Messive lived around it, talk to these people, and understand what percentage of them are actually from here, and what percentage of them actually simply came here because they thought it would be easy and profitable, you really don't have a place to comment about it.

The answer to that is it takes a village to raise a child if you don’t have a single family member that you can sleep next to in order to go to work the next day your life expectancy is pretty short and animal in the jungle will not survive without its pack It’s not the rest of the world responsibility the shoulder your problem while they are handling their business you have to handle your business. Come up with a solution or deal with the consequences. There is no come, save me, Cape and rubber boots. Too many people now have a victim mentality if we all lived in a village together and you slept in the corner all day while the rest of us were out hunting and fishing all day nobody’s gonna feed you. It’s different if you fell off a bridge and you were hurt for a couple weeks , if you don’t work and you’re not working two jobs doing whatever you need to survive and you want someone to come save you. It’s never gonna happen.

A lot of homeless people have chosen to run away from home and be rebellious because they don’t want to conform that’s not mental illness. That’s hardheaded my dad used to always tell me two things you can’t fix in life, hardheaded and ignorant, and they are one of the same. It’s a conscious decision to be that way. A lot of these people have family. Their family won’t accept their behavior and they won’t change so they are at a standstill now all of a sudden it’s our responsibility. Is the public to support this person and their bad decision-making no way.
