This is one of the only bands that I want to actually watch them perform, not just sing, because they really are performers, and artists. They have an amazing dynamic, John Paul is a badass with a guitar, Joy has the voice of an angel and is a blast to watch as she rocks out through every song. I LOVE THE CIVIL WARS!!!!!!

Dude, I'd totally look at him like that too =P But in her defense, he is the one playing an instrument, and she has to watch him for all the cues...how else do you think they get all of their ab libs so dead on Every. Single. Time. Love The Civil Wars!

Best band on the planet! Inspired me to start playing guitar at 37 years of age and I'm rockn if I must say lol. Teaching my 8 year old what I've learnt :) Need these guys to come to Australia ASAP!

Right!?!?!? I recently got into them and in every live performance I can't help but notice this. I get that it's a connection singing but Joy looks at him a little too much. I can't believe more don't comment on it. She looks at him longingly. At first I figured they were married to each other because of how she watches him.
