It is such a great surprise to see my old Forest Service friend, Bill Gillespie! What a great presentation! Cheers from Geoff (the Veg Mapping guy)

I have an important question. During the period the SCS was active in the Gila Valley did they work on upland canal construction around the northeast lower slope of Mount Graham. I know the Marijilda canal which had been buiit in the early 1900s was lined with concrete in the mid-1930s. The reason i ask is that there remain questions if the many upland canals found in this area are prehistoric, historic, or both prehistoric and historic.
