This clip contains excerpts from Robert Liberace's "The Classic Portrait" dvid (4 hours length) in which he demonstrates and describes the process of painting a portrait using historical pigments, oils and mediums. The first part of the dvd is spent painting a monochromatic underpainting, and after this dries he lays in the color and finishes the painting.
