Ikr!!? Like subhan Allah..I try to find those which I haven't listened to and add to my watch later playlist. The brother has done an amazing job, Allahumma barik.. I love those videos so much. May Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him & his family 🍃🍃🍃🍃
Your old lectures are amazing, releasing content way ahead of time alhmadulillah. The fact that you were coming out with these gems 12 years ago is superb, may Allah honor you fi dunya wal akhira.
⚠️ All those who promote or defend any book or preacher that is contradicting the Quran & Hadith Will gain as much sin as those who follow the wrong teachings. Tablighi Jamaat Sect will be the cause of many people entering hell 🔥😨🔥 because 📖 Fazail-e-Amaal is full of $hirk & Bid'ah ALLAH MADE IT CLEAR I$LAM IS C0MPLETE & PERFECT ( Quran 5 : 3 ) ( There is no need 4 Fazail - e - Amaal ) Would any of us drink a mi|kshake with 🥛 🍌🍓 & poison in it ? Fazail - e - Amal ingredients is > Quran > Hadith > Shirk > Bid'ah As we know poison will end this Temporary life ⚰️ but Shirk will keep us in Hell forever 🔥😨🔥
Alhamdulillah! I use to rap as well, I made beats and learned to play the piano. Subhan'Allah up until I turned 40 and Mashallah I don't even listen to music at all anymore! Allah'u Akbar!
@@thehourglassfan3515 I appreciate the concern! But examples of those who came before us, sets the bar to promote change and removes excuses to say in ignorance! Do we not know about the day when revelation was given to Prophet Muhammad SAW about alcohol, and that very moment all alcohol was poured out to never be consumed again by those before us. It's the being proud of the sin and the revealing of it to those around you to make it seem deviant and pleasing that's forbidden. This has been years ago for me, when I was in a state of ignorance, and alot of people was completely aware of what I did! But if you sinned last night and no one knows of it, and you go boasting about it to those who don't know, you have now revealed what Allah concealed! Lessons are to be learned from the ignorance of those before us! Alhamdulillah!
@@thehourglassfan3515 No need for apology! We most definitely disagree concerning music, it is most definitely Haram! The fact that it controls your body if you agree with the lyrics or not, proves this without a shadow of a doubt! You can even hate a particular song, but if its catchy, you find yourself saying the lyrics and don't know why you keep repeating it.... The Shaytan is the snake charmer with the flute, charming you right into immorality. Or the pied piper mesmerizing you to follow him right into a dark place from which might be no return. Be aware of yourself when music is played, you will find that it controls you! If you cheated on your wife, unfortunately there's a song justifying why you was right for your actions. If you drink alcohol or do drugs, there's a song reassuring you your not wrong. If you murdered someone there's a artist lying about him killing someone every song and has not been caught for the murders he's quote unquote confessed to on the songs. There's even songs that promotes the worship of the Shaytan and in pop music it's prevalent and on the radio! Katy Perry use to be a Christian singer, now a big star who openly says she sold her soul to the devil! All the big names in rap say openly they sold their souls to the devil! Lady Gaga said on national television hail satan! And the list goes on...... You can choose to ignore clear uncut declarations by the ones you listen to, to the devil, and you will be of those who argue with those in the hellfire, claiming they misguided you. But our brother has given a warning for those who see this video, and I have given a warning for who read this comment! But most of all the prophet Muhammad SAW has given a clear warning and if you obey the messenger, you've obeyed Allah SWT! And if you disobey the messenger SAW, you have disobeyed Allah SWT! May Allah SWT guide those who incline towards truth and may Allah SWT have mercy upon the believers! Allah'u Akbar!
@@thehourglassfan3515 Ok! I got a question for you! When is the only time throughout the day, throughout the world that people dance? It's only when music is played! You have to move according to the tempo of the music, or otherwise you look crazy.... You don't dictate the music, the music dictates you! If the music speeds up you speed up, if the music slows down you slow down, when the music stops you stop! Allah'u Akbar! Everyone perceives their in control, why wouldn't you? In this dunya, you're never in control.... You either serve Allah SWT, or you listen to the Shaytan! There's only this or that, hot or cold, wet or dry, up or down, right or left, righteous or unrighteous! Alhamdulillah!
@@thehourglassfan3515 I never said you hear the song and you do what the song says! I agree that is absurd! What I said was essentially if the music comes on and you find yourself moving to the music without even having to think about moving to it or not..... Shows the control it haves over a person! There's people who would claim what your response was about music, and they feel the same way about the cocaine they partake in. They would say if a person lets the drug control their life, their a weak person and they are in control of the drug themselves. But no matter, it's your path to take and to Allah is the return. Salam!
It's like this brother is speaking to my heart deeply almost every time I play his lectures, And he always gives you sufficient evidence. May Allah resurrect him and Us among the company of the prophets, shuhadaa and salihiin.
Masha Allah. I'm going back to your old classic lectures. One by one. I can't get enough of them. I'm here in your channel 2 or 3 times a week for aqidatul wasitiyyah. I started from beginning. Now I'm in lessons 70. I wonna catch up live every week. Insha Allah I will. I leaned so much. I can't believe it. May Allah Swt reward you. I hope my sons will join this channel this ramadan insha Allah.
I wanted to have a meeting with my family to show my siblings and parents how many proofs we have regarding music. I will definitely use this video to gather all of these evidences! Tabaraka Allahu Fik and may Allah grant you Jannah, ameen :)
@@OneWayToParadise Salaam aleikum, i live in the west and work with disbelievers who turn on the radio while were in the car. When i'm not on guard, my body starts to move on his own. Will this be written as a sin? ( May Allah give you great reward for your hard work)
@@franewilmots9056 From what i learned, theres a difference between hearing and listening. If you hear it but despise it, no sin is upon you. But if you listen to it and vibe to it, then the sin is on you. @OneWayToParadise ustadh is it correct ??
I encountered this lecture by brother Abu Mussab back in 2011-2012 but was waiting for the opportune moment to watch it. I was following all of the brother’s advice from his other videos but was just not ready to let Lil Wayne go. After a long and bumpy ride, I can finally say that I’m done with music.
I can testify that it's true what you say about music being disturbing to a heart in which the Quran has settled and vice versa. For most of my life until not very long ago, I was addicted to music and I proudly admitted to it as if it was something to be credited for. The first time I was ever moved to tears from reading the Quran was only after I had quit music. Now when people pass by me on the road with music blasting from their cars/bikes, it makes me physically uncomfortable. When I go to to laundromat, I have to leave my clothes in the machine and leave because I can't stand there and listen to the music being played.
You need to find a path of balance. You are not the center of this universe! The things that are not in your control will not become your sin, for example someone else playing a song just because they are listening to it!
Me also... But i watched it only a year ago... I remember when i was searching for some soothing nasheeds & in between youtube recommended this lecture & that's how i found this channel...

May Allaah reward you abundantly brother, A couple of days ago I saw a friend of mine posting quotes of ancient scholars who were in favor of the permissibility of music and I asked him to stop misleading people and he said it's a Fiqh matter and it is not as grave as the scholars who are against music make it look, And Sub'haan Allaah you just uploaded this gem, Jazaak Allaahu Khaira Akhi, May Allaah bless you❤️🤝
@Arsh Anwari And the worst thing is, He said that Hadeeth in Sahih Al Bukhari is Dhaeef and also said that those four imaams never mentioned it as Haraam and people falsely attributed those quotes to them and that even if the four Madhaahib deem it as Haraam still it doesn't necessarily have to be Haraam and went on to claim that one of an ancient scholars even wrote a whole book on the permissibility of music and said that Shaykh Albani praised that Scholars, and then man has the audacity to deem that Hadeeth in Sahih Al Bukhari as dhaeef when it is present in the most authentic book of Hadeeth and even Shaykh Albani declared it as Sahih😂
@@AAfzal5 Akhi may Allah bless you for telling the truth and not comprising the religion of Allah but using terms as “ancient or medieval” to refer to scholars is disrespectful. Rather you should say the time the scholar was around for example Ibn Tamiyyah which was about 700 years ago Jazuallahkhair
@@AAfzal5 Also when it comes to the salaf you don’t need to mention that they came 1400 years ago we know this by default we should mention the generation of the salaf they are from, such as the companions (aka sahabah), the tabi’un (second generation), and the taba tabi’in (third generation).
Since you came on naseeha sessions with the dawahman (junior) im coming back to your channel again and again. May Allah guide us all, all you put up is helpfull Allahumma barek
Do not despair: Shaykhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “It is not permissible for a Muslim, if he would repent and then go back afterwards (to committing sin), to persevere (in that sin); however, he (should) repent, even if he went back (to that sin) a hundred times in a day. " [Majmū 'al-Fatawa, v. 16, p. 58] And it was said to Hasan al-Basrī رحمه الله "A man sins, then he repents, then he sins, then he repents, then he sins, then he repents, until he dies. He said: "I do not know this being anything but the characteristics of the believers." [Hilyah al-Awliyah, 2/315] And to conclude, Allah the Almighty reminds us with two ayāt: “Say: "O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves ! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [39:53] Certainly no one despairs of Allāh’s Mercy, except the people who disbelieve." [12:87]
@@papadoudou8090 and May Allah bless you too brother . I didn't write this all I copied it from telegram page "Brohaqq" I recommend you to join it as he has also uploaded many PDFs of books too.
A humble observation my beloved Brother and Teacher. Your body language and style of dawah back then was gold. If you compare them to your current lectures and clips I believe you will notice it too.
The hikmah of non professional singers is awesome. As non professionals sing horribly and that becomes a torture to the listeners so this further reduces our love for songs
1:00:40 ~ what is shocking to me is the revolution of Maher Zain. I remember that Sami Yusuf had shown his Sufi tendencies quite early on but Maher Zain.... Obviously, for the reasons stated in this video, his 'nasheeds' may be more on the 'songs' end of the spectrum. He started with 'nasheeds' related to the religion, including the phrases of praise of Allah for example. But he started to really hit it off when he made that one 'nasheed' that got the video to 120+ mill. views last time I checked. And this is just the Arabic version. (There was English, Turkish etc..). But nowwwww, you can see that they've run out of ideas, and with a platform that they've created using Muslim viewers, they're now making 'nasheeds' that have basically nothing to do with the Deen.... You can just see that one evil is leading to another... May Allah guide them and those who support and listen to these...May Allah guide us and keep us steadfast on the Straight Path.
Asc Brother can you please make another video about imran hosein the first one didn’t address that he said isa as was crucified and he tried to twist the English word crucified saying one must die to be crucified which isn’t true in any sense this is very dangerous some of his videos get millions of views I hope you can do this inshallah. Also can I have any contact information so I may contact you and send you more details inshallah I have watched nearly all of his videos.
Akhi I’m trying to send the quote you mentioned“Ibn qayyim the most beneficial to the people are those who lived in jahiliyyah then in islam” to someone but I need the reference could you please be so kind and share with me the reference? جزاك اللهُ خيرً ا
It's not even necessary for someone to beat a drum or read some kind of poem during wedding and Eid. We should even avoid whatever entertainment may be permissible as sahaba used to do. Can't we leave everything that won't benifit us?
brother jezzekellahu khajran, one question : how do we know who is today from the people that Profet salallahu alejhi weselem : there will be a group from my ummah that will reamin on the right path, it not hurt them who is with them and who is not, till the order of Allah come . ?
وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته I haven’t watched any series in full about the Prophet saw so I wouldn’t be able to tell you, but there’s a series Ustadh abdurahman Hassan just started a few days ago about “the 10 promised jannah” where he goes through the Sahabah the ones he went through are -Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq RA -Umar Bin Al-Khattab RA - Uthman Bin Affan RA And inshaAllah more to come.. hope this helps.
Asalamualikum brother ...the video that you and br.Abdulrahman made on logic and philosophy (ilm al kalam ) Br. M.Hijab invited you both to clarify whether using ilm al kalam was used or not by the salaf ... so you both must go on the podcast and discuss the issue..
I am kind of familiar with the way Muhammad Hijab bro debates, especially on 'Philosophy'. Now if they 'argue' with Muhammad Hijab, I expect that the arguments of Muhammad Hijab will be of going in 'circles'. He will be trying to prove a point, and probably the whole debate will confuse Muslims and probably misguide many. Thats why it would be pointless, because none of the sides will be there to listen but only talk. Like a Fitna tbh So better not to produce such a useless/misguiding/unintelligible debate. P.S. proof in favor of 'Philosophy' in Islam is from humans (not the salaf or our Prophet Sallalaho Alyhewasalam), who are not perfect, and may be misguided

@@cavshub7503 i don't think he was offended he was trying to explain it was not misquoting because misquoting means not quoting the right thing or removing some part. He mean what happened to was a slip of tongue which is part of being human but misquoting now thats a huge problem coz that will be a sign of hypocrisy or trying to twist the meaning. It was a great thing that you pointed it out though that's highly appreciated.❤
Praise be to Allah. Firstly: It is permissible for a woman to take part in public chat rooms, if she adheres to the following guidelines: She should only participate as much as is necessary, so she should pose a question or state the topic, then leave, and not comment unless there is a need for that, because the basic principle is that she should avoid speaking to men or mixing with them. There should be nothing in her words that could provoke fitnah (temptation), such as joking, speaking softly, or laughing, such as writing “hahahahahaha”, as mentioned in the question, or using smiley emojis, because that could lead to coveting on the part of those in whose hearts is disease, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech” [al-Ahzaab 33:32]. She should avoid giving out her email address or corresponding via private messages with any man, even if that is for the purpose of seeking help, because of what such correspondence often leads to of attachment and temptation. See the answers to question no. 34841 . It is preferable and better for a woman to participate only in all-female chat rooms. This is safer for her. There are many such chat rooms, and that is better and sufficient. But if she needs to participate in public chat rooms, then it is better for her to choose a screen name that does not indicate that she is female. And Allah knows best.
