This is a conversation with Sarah Elizabeth Garber. She is an artist, entrepreneur, and owner of The Clay Cup in downtown Altoona, PA. She dropped out of college to be her own boss. The Clay Cup opened in 2017 when the historic downtown was still struggling. She's welcomed many new neighbors since then. She talks about why a place like the Clay Cup is so important to a community.
She hosts numerous art classes and painting opportunities right in the back of the coffee shop. Her art work has been featured on Sheetz' fleet of trucks and in TJ Maxx. What does the future hold for downtown now that its on an upswing?
