You should be able to get 280 easy! Swap out injectors and e85 you got a killer. Swap out the intake manifold also

Could be piston shaping he just built the motor and used forged pistons. Maybe the p2w is a little loose while cold and since it warms up the p2w tightens up and the noise goes away. Which wouldn’t be the end of the world

I live in west TN and not many people into imports down here, so hard to find clean cars for good prices.. many people with them ask way to much.

Maybe vtc gear spring may be weak if it's not new.You can take apart vtc and stretch spring out a little bit and put back together and be good to go

Im half way into the video an maybe im talking to soon .but maybe the tap is piston slap .. sometimes depending on the after market pistons an how they gap the rings ..but you know this better than i do .im just a 38 year old yt mechanic

Im pretty sure with that set up with rbc manifold will make 280-300 with e85

For the southern people or any that don't have to deal with rusty cars prob wouldn't understand how much it's worth for us to find nice rust free older vehicles. Id bet with high compression goin to E and optimize the tuning it's gonna crack 270. Pretty impressive for na 4cyl street car.

Tune on RDX 410cc with pump gas first and see how much it makes then E85 with 1000cc injectors. Would love to see this. Thanks HunterTuned

Also we run valvoline vr1 20/50 in all of our k series turbo cars that we build here. It’s an amazing oil and flows through the engines just fine. But it’s def overkill and un needed for an N.A. setup like yours. The turbo k series cars really like the vr1 oil and the zinc additive is good for them too

Got another one almost just like it with turbo single cam if you want another one!

Finally a first. Very nice find. Still hoping to connect if you want to do the crx del sol transtop turbo b build. Uship is definitely the way to go. Never had a problem yet. Keep up the great work and have a better tomorrow.

Soumds more like piston slap to me then they could of honed it a bit to much and the p2w clearsnces are w bit to lose it started to soumd better once you drove it 12.5:1 can be ran on pump gas i run ly 13:1 b20v on pump that thing gona make some steam with some big cams

Not to toot on your parade but after seeing this I now know that k is not the way - J is the way !! With a J32a2 from like a 6 speed cl type s you can make 300hp stock ! And the motor is only about 45 pounds heavier with way more torque also so that accounts for that easily - Not to mention they sound way better but cool sedan either way , I just know when my b20 blows I’m putting my cl’s j32 in it 😎
