@@blackhatstudios2441 Love you guys, great videos and Supporting each other and so Awesome that you and your wife drives this rig instead of it collecting dust in the garage, I'm currently building my 03 taco 🌮 S.A.Swap with a hybrid Dana 30 HP / 44 , basically a Dana 30 with Dana 44 outers, Chromo Axle Shafts and high steer etc, I had to keep in mind that I have to drive her every day and I live in the NYC/Long Island area, it's tight here, I call where I live " HELL " and it's also my offroader and will be driving to and from the trail ( Rausch Creek offroad in PA around 300 miles away ) I love purpose built vehicles but I ain't rich and this shit ain't Cheap! So between that and and she's a 4 cylinder ( I'd kill for an I Force ) and she hauls motorcycles around, but 1 thing she don't do is , Ride on a Trailer, gotta build what is right for you, nice to dream but I deal in reality, and my reality is, I ain't rich, keep up the great work and please more Real World Builds, love the expense shit but much rather see the vehicles like yours

love seeing big bad race trucks but being able to see “prerunners” like evans here, definitely helps give first time builders like myself, some good ideas to feed off of. love it clean build need more everyday prerunner builds on the channel
What a bad ass set up, gives us SUV guys some motivation to get something where you don't have to cut the cab and have holes everywhere and still get decent travel. Nicely done and more than capable.

I have an ‘03 4wd v8 SR5 4Runner with 136k mi. and it has no rust no drivetrain issues only cosmetic issues from the previous owner smoking and burning cigarette holes in stuff. This is my first car so as long as it runs I ain’t complaining. I want to do upgrades to it later after I get through college and get myself a different car as a daily then I will up grade my 4 runner.
I love watching videos like this after watching a race truck btd. It brings things back to reality and ultimately saves me a lot of time and money😂 if it works it works no need for a rig that you can’t use to its full capacity.

Dose it ever snow where you live? It sure does where us hillbilly's live and I don't like be chained up all the damn time. 2wd anything makes zero sense except for muscle cars.

4.7L iforce v8 was in the older tundras from early 2000 to 2007 after that it's not the same motor in the tundras because there a 5.7L iforce v8 4.7L engines are in all the older vehicles before 2010
Dang this makes me sad I used to have the VVT-i V6 in my 4runner almost a year ago before it blew up it was so fast and could do burnouts easily but the roof racks are awesome I have the same one. (didn’t get rid of it just new slower engine)
Toyota never made a 4th gen 4runner with the v8 and 2wd They are all all wheel drives if they have the v8 the v6 models are the only ones that came with the 2wd to awd to 4x4 option

Dirt designs just sold the last kit for the rear they had. They might be willing to build more if we can get at least 5 orders in. Just sharing if anyone is interested. Wcounting me that makes just 4 needed.
Cages in these things require a good chunk of change and a good amount of time for the truck to be down, so they are often one of the last things to get done, but you are right. This truck def needs a cage as we make it stronger and more capable. A cage and seats are the next thing on the list!
Shit.. I've had a couple linked.. coilover preruners no cage And we get down..didn't even wear seat belts most time.. hitting whoops at 70 with a soda in one hand.. had to re align the doors every trip but whatever
