With all the rain and cloud we've had this year, the poppies of Polly Joke seem to have struggled to grow anywhere near as much as I've seen them in previous years. Still, Polly Joke is always worth a visit even outside of the poppy months, as I hope this video shows :)

What happened to the cowslips which used to cover that area in the sixties&early seventies?

I think the weather this year has helped the grass grow, but stunted the growth of most of the flowers. I did see a few cowslips in one of the other fields, so they are still around at least :)
