Reconfiguring it would taint the experiment and its stated purpose. Although the stated purpose is most certainly not the real purpose. Cawl wants a Bobby up his sleeve should he need to do sone finagling of deepfakes.
"I forgive you Cawl, please plug me into a Kastelan robot so that I may give you a proper forgiveness hug" "I am sorry my Lord, I'm not falling for that one again"
Cawl is to the imperium what I am to my grandparents after I plug in the USB cord and reset the Wifi: a tech wizard with no equal, a man of unrestrained intellect, a mental force of nature(and a handsome young man according to my grandma, women I’m not related too not so much)
I do really love Cawl as a character who just refuses to maintain the status quo. Who holds nothing sacred as the rest of the imperium does and pushes the imperium and the story forward with little discretion.
@@aidancox5481everyone always goes for Heresy AUs led by primachs, but we rarely see heresies perpetrated by anyone else. I'd love to see a full Admech heresy, where the Treaty of Mars breaks down when the Emperor is still around cos they somehow found out about the Void Dragon, or a Navigator lead Heresy as they learn of the soon-to-be completed human webway What about some sort of heresy where smth fucks with the Custodians' abilities to interpret the Emperor's commands so subtly that neither he nor they even realise that he's cut off from them. It then works to twist their interpretations of his dreams, and long story short the custodians eventually begin to turn against baseline humanity or just against all non-custodes humans cos they think it's the ultimate will of the Emperor and all part of his plan etc etc
Even having Chaos Space Marines be repulsed over Primarus and his arrogance at altering the Emperors design. Though apparently Big E appeared to him and said it was okay.
My favorite stories are loyalists who fight for humanity and do some Inquisitor maddening things to do it: * partnering with xenos (Guilliman) * cultivating mutations (Black Dragons) etc.
The best part of this conversation was when AI Guilliman says “This is blasphemy.” and Cawl went “SEE THE REAL GUILLIMAN WOULD NEVER USE THAT WORD! He’s a mod on r/Atheism.”
Loved this scene cawl was very worried and nervous about using this AI. If I remember correctly he severed all connection between that room and the ships noonshpere in case it tried to escape
@@pedromoura1446rt, tho, a Titan with the actual mind of Guilliman in it would be an amazing weapon should a traitor Primarch show up. All that godly fury with the actual biggest guns in the Imperium.
Imagine the AI reaches out to the actual Robot Girlyman, Cawl somehow doesn't get turned into atomic dust by the primarch's fury and the AI is left as is leading to its hologram appearing in front Guilliman: -Cawl is up to some shit again, isn't he? -Correct, my primarch
lest just said before vashor things got out of his control the forge worlds who try to take control of the sistem were the planet was were very ´pety with the necrons
He's too useful and Gman owes him his life so he's not ever going to do more than complain or chastise cawl when the shenanigans get too out of hand Outside the mechanicus most people know cawl and gman are besties and don't want to get on gmans bad side Exception for a certain inquisitor in genefather who was REALLY butthurt cawl stole his necron waifu from his inquisition dungeon and refused to return the prisoner when confronted
I'm actually Reading the Book. I really didn't expect Cawl to have done such a thing. He is like the Guy who read the rules for better transgres them😂😂😂😂
@@Santisima_Trinidad he's the kind of guy that loved the Geneve Convention so much he found ways to both subvert it effectively and created war crimes even Geneva was too scared to consider.
*Custodians should've scanned Emperor's brain too right before the siege of terra. That way they could've learnt how to fix golden throne and other important stuffs.*
Custodians doing anything that the emperor has not suggested is heresy^^ proof : they didnt dream for 10K years , they didnt do sh*t for 10k years and stayed on terra. With one exception in Valdor. But he is the exception to confirm the rule.
You have a VERY good point here. Emps and Malcador did not get along too well at first. They also actively annoyed the crap out of each other too. Which is exactly how Guiliman and Cawl are right now lol.
@dean_l33 Canonically Lorgar is the Primarch most similar to the Emperor. Though Guilliman is the best combination of the Emperors traits, he's actually better at being emperor than the Emperor is.
@@Orapac4142 Yes the lion has become a far more level-headed and somewhat caring figure in particular towards his own sons. G man well is a bit dubious especially after this meeting with Big Skelly E
In Latin America we have a recurrent meme with Cawl: "I'll do all the heresies needed to save this Imperium!" If you know the reference, you'll get a like
Does this imply that, even tho is an AI/copy of a Primarch's mind, it's still powerful and capable of such insight that it CAN tell it is a COPY??? it might be at least self aware if not sentient...
@@gideonmele1556 Thats exactly why humanity fell. Just think this way in the real world r e t ards think Ai will rebel and kill everyone becouse they project thenselves into it. Now put the same chi mp thinking in a universe WERE thinking make stuff happen. Probably thats how the way for chaos to corrupt AI and machines happen.
Everybody who could call a call to Cawl about his 'indicretions' and 'ventures' would have to give up two things. 1) he undoubtedly has dirt on all the other high ranking tech priests and inquisitors 2) dude brings more toys than Santa
Imagine of the AI had to stop occasionally and reboot because it had some ancient scrap code that told it that it needed to restart for an update. Nobody knows where the scrap code came from but it was both ancient beyond reckoning and loathed by all.
Also guilliman has one thing many in the 41st millennium lack, common sense.he might get pissed at this, but also, he can stop for just a second and think of the benefits.
Real G can’t once he’s angry. It takes a lot to rouse his anger like any deskjockey but once incited, it’s not good. That this AI can calm so easily already defeats some of Cawl’s stated reason in that he tampered with it which has cascading effects.
Since Big E has given him the go ahead to do some wild things I guess it’s okay in a way would be funny as hell if he made a Lion AI too or of all of the Primarchs who return soon
@@sessy01 young Lion: old, old bastard hahaha. O L D Oldman Lion: *snores away quietly in his wheel chair to the rythmic sounds of his life support machines*
Must we go through this every time I activate you. For some reason that just sounds cool. Either he’s like a program booting up the same way every time and therefore have to get over that he’s a copy before he can do anything. Or he’s so determined in his opinion on this that he choose to do this every time. It must be nice to be able to talk to your boss with no body and a volume control
guilliman also would relent if it TRULY was in the best interest of Imperium to examine the mind copy. Afterall he is incredibly loyal and principled when it comes to Imperium.
Cawl probably had sharks with lasers attached to their heads. Edit: please excuse my last comment. For some reason my phone thought I was still on this video and not on something else entirely. The app is dumb when it comes to switching between clips and full videos.
I wonder what would've happened had he cloned Vulkan instead... "I forgive you walking abomination, now I have another big bruva frend that must be in need of hugging"
a copy no matter how incredibly perfect will always be inferior to the original in regards to it's purpose, that is being a perfect copy. Because a primarc is more than a personality. it's the sum total of a conscious of a man with great will with a subconscious god. It's unpredictable to say the least
Just wanted to say I love your dedication to your craft and that your content has been a great source of entertainment and joy while I’m healing up from a torn rotator cuff keep up the good work aVe imperatorum
Okay... That just sounds like something only best buddies would do 😂 Even though our grim dark fellas might not admit it. We'd all love a copy of our buddy lost in the void
Cawl basically made an AI that can yell at him to make him atone for his sins from maybe the only person he considers an equal/ has any authority in the modern imperium
It's Trazyn I would not at all be shocked if he shows up in a borrowed body at Gmans office and asks for an autograph and all the sanguinius merch in the imperial palace
Either that or, guilliman actually sees the sense in what he said. And wants to be as mad as he was with lorgar's brats but nobody wanted another horus
Yes that’s what I’m thinking, AI Guilliman wants to be angry, because this is both a great betrayal and a violation of So many imperial laws but as soon as Cawl brings up Horus and by extension the worst case scenario He is forced to see the logic behind the actions and is forced to back down.
"Nobody wants another horus" How long until he creates a copy of like Perturabo and the thing manages to hack into some robots and build itself a body.
@@spottedslash4256 if he was gonna turn he would have done it millennia ago. You can call him a lot of nasty things but disloyal is surprisingly not one of them
Cawl also claims that his Simulcrums such as Cawl Inferior are preprogrammed with every response possible to any question it could be asked, which is possible due to his mathematical genius of extrapolating any possible scenario Gulliman may be faced with. Therefore it’s not an AI and Cawl can’t be persecuted for it lmao
"Look, I know you are pissed at this violation, but I really needed someone who could tell me when I'm about to commit some horrific moral violation, or if it is just the servitors being squeamish again. Would you rather I just ran purely on my own moral compass?" "... Your logic is impeccable. I hate that."
Cawl is that IT guy who doesn’t abide by the company’s dress-code and treats everyone poorly but can’t be fired cause he’s holding the systems on with duct tape and is the only who knows how they work
