She is excused to think and act outside the normal Imperial mandate without being utterly alien, like Yvraine.
So if the people of the Imperium believes that Guilliman will save them with as much conviction as an Ork believes the badly put together collection of sub standard parts they call a shoota will work then Guilliman will actually save them?

Erda (wife of the emperor and creator of the Primarchs, she wanted to raise them with love) should have been allowed to raise the Primarchs as normal people first, give them a proper education and training, instead of throwing teenagers in the bodies of adults into the fray... They needed more training. Erda didn't look for her sons or go meet with them though, the emperor knew where she was but decided not to punish her and instead go retrieve his creations.
No one addresses the fact he carried a chainsword attached to his back. He's beyond everyone's understanding and even in death you should be afraid of that.
Idk Turning traitor because you felt unappreciated and like the emperor was handing you his hardest battles and not thanking you for it even once is something i can empathize with heavily
