As a man I have to say this. There were serious allegations of rape raised against that young man. Allegations that could have taken his life away undeservedly from an untrustworthy person, vanasikana ityai Mwari.

This episode has taught me to listen objectively. Actually to really listen. Now I know there is listening and really listening. Although the girl’s story sounded plausible, there are a lot of inconsistencies, e.g the mango tree narrative. I think at one point it sounded as though she was suggesting intimacy happened at the mango tree, then on questioning, she says that she was picked up from the mango tree and dragged into the guy’s bedroom. She is a good actor. After claiming to not have slept with any other man, she actually had slept with at least two others! She has really let herself down! There is more to this story than meets the eye. Kudos to you Tinashe and your team. This is an amazing ministry. Sending you more strength.

Having watched many a DNA Show, I was 99% certain the mother was fibbing. Her stories were just too fantastical to be believed. What a shame, to bring her parents to be humiliated in front of the whole world. For a man I can understand; men can always justify their doubt. What I just don't understand is why women go for PUBLIC DNA tests knowing there's a chance, however small, that the alledged father is not the father. It's too humiliating. It's not a risk worth taking.
