I think that’s an unsubstantiated generalisation. How have you come to that conclusion? You cannot use just afew cases that have been presented on a program to make a general statement about population. That’s how people develop prejudices!

@@BlaFatso2 I am saying I didn’t know it was a thing at all until this show because I have never seen it. in this program several fathers doubt because the child is ill. Which surprised me that someone can doubt based on a child’s illness or that’s common grounds for doubt. Obviously it’s not every man but in this show alone there is a pattern of rejection based on illness wc tells me there are more cases in the general population or it’s a common phenomenon among those who are doubting. Unless somehow this show picked outliers of those who doubt. I am willing to bet among those who are doubting partenity illness will show up in high percentage if they tally reasons for doubt.

@@yamudharashashandiwe9053 well MEn because I have seen it on more than one occasion. Not all men but a good percentage of those who doubt-doubt because child is not perfect. Which is a disturbing finding. Because that tells me women are being left to fend for themselves in their most vulnerable state. If child isn’t perfect it probably means she has a larger burden of caregiving than if child is healthy. Which means the father is needed the most to support. But instead he abandons the child and mother. That’s a disturbing phenomenon and one which makes me want to start something sorely to support such mothers because clearly their partners aren’t supportive if they find themselves in a scenario where on top of the child’s illness she has to add paternity harassment and loss of support to that.
