I think it probably has a lot to do with correcting a false advertising issue that some expert in their daddy's garage proved with a semi-older battery or some junk like that. In my opinion, they are really the best brand out there and keep the stupid mode cycles to a minimum. Some people need them for work and other things besides being found and I like that. My first Coast was a free one via-digging it out of a water and rust filled bolt bucket that I knew had been there for two years. I took it home and cleaned it (it was the plastic version about 5 times larger than this model) and it worked when I got it out of the bucket and better when it was cleaned. It still works today like new and it's been 3 years and who knows how long before I found it. Oh and I just got a px22.
Just what I needed, thanks. I saw the G22 on menards and the PX on walmart and couldn't tell the difference other than menards is a buck or 2 more. Guess I'll go with wallys. I'll be hooking mine to my belt key ring for use with deliveries. I have a super bright one that I use from the car or that I can carry in my hand if I really need it but sometimes I when I get out of the car to do the delivery I don't think I need the big light but then part way into the walking up the delivery I realize I do need it for something but I don't want to carry the larger light on every delivery or hook it on my belt. I need a small light weight fallback light that I can just tilt up from my belt.
sometimes other stores get differnt model numbers. Mostly in bigger items, like TV's so they can't price-match other stores. "Sorry, we can match that exactly same spec'd item...because it is a different model number."
I like my nebo torchy, but kind of dislike the proprietary magnetic charger. Also, it seems to glitch out sometimes and wont turn on unless u unscrew the battery compartment and screw back on. Maybe contact or humidity issues??? Anyone recommend something similar in size by other reputable brand?? I didnt know pbkg did flashlight stuff as well as theyre not very sharp lol
The difference is Walmart sells the Px22 only. G22 is sold else wear. PX-22 is sort of Walmart's brand of coast light's. Google will tell you the difference if you look it up. hope this helps.@@peterbiltknifeguy
Whatever to make a sale maybe as that is odd....Did you pick it up any cheaper from Wally World?...I keep a flashlight like that on my computer bag with my Leatherman Surge and painters foldable putty knife...I also have a pen stun gun so I don't get r * a * p * e * d...LOL....Nice to have a good little EDC flashlight....Good stuff...
My go to edc is the Olight i3T EOS with lithium battery. I have several that I got for less than $20/each. I think they're right at $20 now. I also carry the i5T,which is a AA and 500lm instead of 180, in certain instances but not very often
I would suggest the streamlight protac 1aaa. You can throw in a rechargeable battery or use disposable batteries. Ipx7, ten tap programmable, 118 lumens, 890 candela, 60 meter beam, 2.25 hours on high with a lithium aaa. 23 hours on low with a lithium aaa, which is 8 lumens, but it looks like it could be closer to 20 lumens. It's definitely brighter than the 15 lumens on the olight i5r.
