Well, dang it, I missed again, but I watched it back, and will probably see next weeks show 😉. Good show, and I voted on the FB group! Both were awesome
Hi, guys. I have so often thought of a fun video I would like to see. In it, an individual would buy a small item for $2 to $3 at the local store and the item would be paid to the unsuspecting teenage cashier with all different coinage and types, but all still legal tender, pulling the coins out one at a time and counting aloud the total using such coins as out of circulation half dollars (seated and standing liberty and Franklin), quarters and dimes (seated liberty, barbers, mercury, standing liberty, etc), nickels (liberty, buffalo), a three cent and two cent piece, and different pennies (including large cents and two half cents for the last one cent of the purchase). The resulting discussion of a bewildered cashier indicating they only take "American coins" or however that interaction would play out could be so entertaining to watch. Of course, at the conclusion and after pointing out the hidden camera, the hope would be that the cashier would return the coins (to use on the next unsuspecting cashier), understanding that the cashier may very well not want to, or for being a good sport, perhaps a few (or all) of the coins are gifted to the cashier. So obviously one would want to use the least valuable coins of the series. Surely someone has already thought of doing such a video. Are you aware of any such videos? If so, I'd love it if you would share the link!
Yeah, this new studio thing is a bit different than what we are used to. I was able to make some adjustments in the audio only show. I’ll figure it out and get it back to normal. -Matt
