For full disclosure I'm a Manchester City supporter, but replacing SAF was always going to be a monumental task, not least of all because of the length of time he had been at the club and the fact that so much of its success at the time was down to the SAF "system" you just have to look at films like "Damn United" to see that dynamic in action and most people would agree that Clough was one of the best if not the best English manager of the second half of the 20th Cen. United's owners aren't great, but this was always going to be a time of transition and I don't really think any ownership group could have changed that.

The first game I saw on tv was a Man U game with prime rooney, and I loved it, and the glazers, they're ruining the game. they decided to join a super league that was protested which resulted in rescheduling the Liverpool game at the worst time possible and killed United's title run.
