It seems everyone pitches in when new stuff is built. Maybe if you assign builders that doesn't happen but it seems like a waste of a follower. I guess since this is not the official build of the game he's not trying to mid-max yet.

@@elkeiem3786 That statement is quite deceiving. It depends on how much you wanna do in it and how much you like the management aspect. If you're just in it for the roguelite gameplay, then you are correct. I'm 7.2 hours in and I'm not close to finishing it. I love interacting with my followers, playing the dice minigame, decorating my base, etc. There's a surprising amount of things you can do with your cult and it's really fun.

@@g76agi Okay. I see a below average game gameplay wise. That tries to do a building thing that is really just a below average way to make it a roguelite. It tries to do 2 things and they both look below average. Graphics look nice though? Your turn.

@@g76agi I downloaded the demo and played it to see if I was missing something, since it seems to be popular. I like the graphic style and I guess the story seems interesting. As I suspected the game play is just easy/boring. Compared to something like gungeon or even issac. Maybe you get better stuff later, but the rooms are so small. I won't be paying $25 for sure. Maybe $10.

Yo Ticks are no joke, I got Lymes disease last year, thought I was going to die after having a 103F fever for 24 hours, went to the ED- nothing. Day later: bullseye lesion got put on doxycycline for two weeks. Three weeks later half of my face quit working for a week. I had to drive from Atlanta to Chicago with half of my face stroked out. TL;DR: do some debugging.

To me it seems like you can focus on dungeons or management where you either play big on resources or fast and efficient development. After some followers you can automate much of the base work needed.

You might know these as they're not that recent nor obscure, but: If you haven't played Risk of Rain 2 (or 1 tbh) I'd definitely recommend giving it a go. Monster train is a cool take on the slay the spire formula.

Dead Cells has the best combat of any game I’ve ever played; I’ve got like 700 hours and it’s still a blast. Another one I’ve been playing a lot recently is Synthetik; it’s a tactical shooter with super intricate gunplay that has a great rhythm to it

He mentioned somewhere in this video that it isn't the full game, it's the streamer build (ie review copy) which's just the first 2 biomes. No full game till the 11th.
