Beautiful videography and surfing, I love that you guys used more soft instrumental/symphony music to accompany the surf scenes, makes it that much more magical and lets the waves and scenery be the focal point, rowdy music tends to take away from all that, great job to everyone who helped create this!!

This made me homesick. Cardiff by the Sea and north county SD is my favorite place in the states. I moved to Phuket, Thailand six years ago. This a piece of art. I tasted the water, felt the kelp, I know that sunset so well while surfing Swamis, Cardiff Reef, Seaside...I almost tasted VG's!

@@robertomachatski thanks Rob, Few things I want to share. 1- I love my Seaside and everyone who try my board in the line up fall in love with the board 2- Your name always come up in the line up when we talk about the best surfers out there (I am 49 and you be amazed how many youngster love your unique style), I call it jazz surfing. 3- Surfers in Puerto Rico love you. I think everything you touch you turn into gold, so please keep making boards, fins and every thing you van come up. I saw the recent Ikea collaboration and it looks awesome

Rob, I am a beginner surfer and I really enjoyed this film. It was simply mesmerizing! You float on water and the ocean dances around you. The music, the clips, the unbelievable surfing. I hope one day that I can come close to making a bottom turn and top turn like you do. And barrels too! Thank you for making this film!
So fortunate to have lived and surfed for a lifetime in and around North County San Diego. I chose to go to college at UCSD because I could walk to Blacks from the dorms and have never left. Later I worked at the local Boys and Girls clubs and so I kinda sorta knew about Rob from very early on. Then he hit the big time and he was and is forever 'my guy'. We love you, Rob.
You really captured rhythm of surfing through a season on a specific piece of coast. Although, the reefs and beaches around San Diego are an exceptionally rich region for waves.

@@robertomachatski Myself 5''6 +5'8 Seaside (im 52), 10yr old daughter 5'2 Seaside, friends have Seasides / Beyonds, all our surfing got a big boost with these boards. Seaside keeps me feeling young, so many thanks on that front. Will get a Mashup in May to keep challenging myself. Your a very benign force in Surf culture. Good man yourself.

Sup Rob!! Used to see you out at North Beach in coronado screaming down that epic left before 9/11 shut down that part of the beach for non military. 🤣 you were one of the only people i saw actually make that wave.
Completely perfect! Style, grace and ripping!🤙🙏 Watching you surf is so nice. The shaping also, I just shaped a couple boards and it’s been about 10 years since I’ve done it. It’s a art that is so fun to do! I would love to watch you shape or shape a board with you?
