Idc how many times in however many shows they do the “having to belt a soft song harshly over a loud noise” bit, its legitimately always funny. I think that says a lot about the talent of this troupe that I can laugh out loud at every use of a joke even when I know the punchline, or perhaps that just says a lot about me. Anyhow, great show!
I went to see this play last year and was in the front row. During the bedroom scene someone 2 seats down from me passed out and fell out of their chair. We were all sent to the lobby and they were taken out by an ambulance. We later learned they were fine and recovered 100%. When we all sat back down and the show resumed the actors came out and there was this awkward moment where it was like 'how the hell do we pick up this scene'. They were pros and broke the tension, everyone laughed and the show picked up its flow like nothing happened. Such a surreal theatre experience.
@bad1dobby there was no way they could have continued, everyone's attention was on the situation. Glad they didn't just keep going would have taken me out of the amazing show
@bad1dobby ah ok, I dont know what attention they needed but medics were tending to them on the floor. It was a nerve wracking time in the lobby that's for sure!
One show I did as we were getting ready to start an older man coming into the theatre slipped on a step and cracked his head open and the ambulance had to come. We had to delay the show as all the blood was cleaned up and the man was evacuated. Luckily it wasn't in the middle of the show, but that was not fun.
Mischief Comedy has me hooked from the get go and i really enjoy all of their performances. Their Peter Pan Goes Wrong had a special place in my heart due to it being my first mischief show i saw. Am really excited to see the second season of The Goes Wrong Show as well. 😁
@@entitree. I am aware that they're all planned... but usually the plays are about a play going wrong. Here it's just the heist within the play going wrong; the "play" itself goes off without a hitch. It's a nice spin on the classic. Hope that clarifies!
Yeah Mrs Borwn's Boys released all their theatre shows on dvd except d musical which was the only one I saw live. Typical but why these don't release their full show on DVD I don't know, unless they're still performing it?
Skyla Gaming by "can't anymore", I literally meant that it's impossible. They had a closing date already set and COVID made their final performance happen earlier than they'd hoped.
Watched this show in London. It was so elaborate, cool and funny. Got so much pleasure watching it live. When a pandemic is over , I want to get back to London to see other plays by this troupe.
Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society Aka The Mischief Company are amazing

Cornley -Polytechnic- Drama Society. Not affiliated with the university anymore. And "AKA" is only true for people who confuse actors with their roles.
Whenever I see this thumbnail, I keep thinking it's American Idiot the Musical. That "spiky" hair, that leather jacket, him holding the book up like a microphone. Not sure if they even use handheld microphones in American Idiot! 😂😅
I wonder what kind of training the Charlie, Henry and Dave had to go through with the ropes. It looks really easy, especially since There are harnesses attached to them so they can’t fall, but all of them have to pull a little Spider-Man while singing at the same time and then pull themselves back up. They’re also being dropped and raised by ropes as this happens and swinging in the air. That had to to take some kind of athletic effort
I know they’re hanging above each other, but from the angle this is filmed it looks like all three of them are just sitting on top of each other for like half of the scene
I don’t believe there are any uploads but you might find clips of it on the internet. These same actors also made a 6 episode series called “the show that goes wrong” 2 pantomimes and a play!
It’s interesting how Mitch was calling Sam an idiot. Yet Caprice was the loudest lol. Can someone please explain to be the joke in the coding, I feel I should get it but I didn’t.
@domenicosanti9301 hey, im afraid the only way to see it is live on stage here in england, and even then im not sure theyre doing this particular one anymore. ive been trying to find it too as im not old enough to be able to go to london and stuff and ive only recently discovered this group anyway (although ive now set my mind on joining them when im older), so i understand its a pain in the ass. if youd like to see more stuff by this company though (if you havent already) there is peter pan goes wrong, a christmas carol goes wrong and the goes wrong show on bbc i player, which i think you can watch if you get a VPN and set it to britain. also, on internet archive there is the full four seasons of mischief movie night in, where they improvise an entire movie based on audience suggestions, im currently binging them now! i hope i was able to help, have a good day😄
Honestly if I was that gaurd, once I've been out about 5 or more minutes, they'd have to put something by my ear to wake me. Speaking of pains in the ass, I got a brother who keeps doing that. The click-clack, crick-crack of a keyboard while I just want to sleep. Vandalism is becoming tempting.
Oh, the skit is from a play- I saw it about two years ago with my family, it's hilarious, it's a whole play about a bank robbery, this is just one scene
The thing with the code being 6996. Yeah i get that it's supposed to be funny that to him being upside down 6 and 9 are swapped so he really would've put in 9669. But he could've just looked at the number next to it. The 8 still looks like an 8 upside down and the 5 just looks weird.
