I have a set of over 100 songs that I call my anthems; r&b, soft rock, gospel, a little country, a little rap but this song "Zoom" is my favorite of all.

So it now February 2022 and I just stumbled upon this masterpiece! A whole 14 years later! The track itself is 45 years old, beating me by a year, but it is still a classic gem. Thank you for taking the time to give us this. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This is a great video for this Commodore's song. Wonderful job to the creator. This song really takes me back. When this song was out, we were all about to graduate, looking forward to life and thinking that we knew everything😂. The parties and the good times. My girlfriend and I slow danced to this song at our graduation party. We both loved this song and we still do. She became my wife and we're still married 44 years later.

Thanks. You're right, I wasn't around when it was popular. I was born in 1990, 13 years after it was recorded. The Commodores are simply my favourite band, thanks to my dad. He bought a Commodores CD, and I thought they were the most ridiculous brothas in the world. But I heard Brick House and became hooked. Zoom is one of my favourite songs (The couple in the beginning are my actual parents, btw). I received a 100% on it. I'm really glad you liked it. I did put a lot of work into it.

I like their version of a House is not a home. I remember being at an Isley Brother’s concert with my aunt, her friend and my mom. My mother was so surprised that I knew all the words and enjoyed singing along! But it was my Daddy who took me to my first concert with Machel Montano who sang “too young to soca”! Never to young to listen and respond to music. I used music to calm my babies. Both my daughter and my granddaughter were dancing even before they could walk.

This was my cousin favorite song we were close like brothers he passed 😢 away on me our birthdays was a day apart and everytime i hear this song i have to stop whatever im doing and reminisce with him i can feel his presence.rip

Love the song by the Commodores. We were back in high school when this was released. Lots of fun and slow dances to this groove and "rapping" to young ladies. 😂 Loved the accompanied music video. It almost seemed as if it was inspired by, "It's A Wonderful Life". Also curious, where was it filmed? Great job.
