This is one of the very few times I actually like a Eurovision song.

They might not win the Eurovision but definitely won our hearts. We can barely remember the winner and his song on that exact year but clearly remember and constantly listen to this song. Masterpiece.

Today we played this song at my dad’s funeral. Het passed away on April 2nd after a very short period with cancer. Now it is calm for him after his last struggle. The song was played after my final words in the ceremony from me to my dad. I’d already loved this song, Now it has become extra special for me.

This is one of the best and most beautiful songs and harmonies I have ever heard in my entire life, and I'm in my 60s. It's too good for Eurovision. And Ilse is gorgeous.

This song is too good for Eurovision.I am a songwriter and liricallly and musically speaking this song is the best.It is not the usual Eurovision house pop,it is written very well and it has a wonderful message.The only thing that keeps this song away from winning is the popular opinion.Many People may not like this song because it is simply not their style.but except that,this song is the winner.Well,at least for me.I wish the Common Liners the best of luck!

This was on the radio and TV eight years ago, but I never payed much attention nor did I know the title or artist. Now I found it by accident, and as the chorus started playing, I started to cry because it's taking me back to memories I didn't even know I had. Shoutout to my fifteen year old self, when everything was good, when the world was about secretly looking at your first crush, sharing a sandwich with your best friend and writing short stories about how you want your future to be. My life is nothing like I imagined it to be back then, but this song allows me to connect with a time long gone, and I am grateful.

Elke hit heeft haters en lovers. And I love it! Het is juist geweldig, een keer een rustig nummer tussen al die hijsa bij het songfestival met enorme jurken die groeien tijdens het nummer en allemaal versierinkjes eromheen. Wij als Nederland zenden dit jaar een echt puur nummer in! In plaats van mee te gaan met de gekte van de rest. Mijn complimenten hiervoor!

As a UK view of the Eurovision Contest I have to say that when this song came on I wanted it to win straight away, despite not having heard the entry from my own country. It should have had twice the points of any other song on the night. Great classy song. Love it!!

Als liefhebber van countrymuziek als o.a. Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard et cetera, ben ik dol op dit nummer, en ook duidelijk één van de weinigen in ons land. Het is een heerlijk kalmerend nummer, verfrissend tussen de rotzooi op de radio en die vele 13-in-een-dozijn-nummers op het Songfestival (met een handvol uitzonderingen). Dit is echt de eerste keer dat ik compleet achter ons land sta in het Songfestival. Zonder enige nationalistische bedoelingen kan ik eerlijk zeggen dat dit mijn winnaar is van het Songfestival dit jaar, maar het publiek zal vast en zeker gaan voor de nummers die niks speciaals zijn. Dit is "saai", niet "spectaculair" . Dit is muziek met gevoel, muziek met waarheid. Dat is country.
