When I was 13 a bus driver told me off for playing this over and over on a portable tape player :-) Other people on the bus were bopping along, they couldn't help it. Jimmy's voice is infectious, he is a great talent, bold and radical.

Loved this version of the song Jimmy and Sarah 💓 loved the both of them singing this and what a energy they both have and 2023 Jimmy Somerville still sounds the same thanks to top of the pops and the person who put this up fricking brilliant to think that was done by the Communards in the 80s loved the 80s and 90s music and the beat to the song made us all want to hit the dancefloor

i heard Jimmy on the soundtrack album for movie "Orlando". I thought what a singer and later on, (years later) found out he had been the Communards lead singer. Then when he paired with Sarah I really got into song "Don't Leave Me This Way".

I think he was kind of a megastar 30-35 years ago. On the 80's and 90's in Spain The Communards were successful.
