Loved bronksi beat then the Communards growing up in my teens at school, my best friends were all gay and came out at ages 16 we bought age of consent in 1984 and we went and danced to all these songs at the clubs both straight and gay clubs but mainly gay clubs. Jimmy pushed the idea of acceptance of LGBT and raised money at AiDS concerts he was so ahead of his time back in those homophobic horrible 80’s times. Thank you Jimmy for all you did for my best friends, some no longer sadly with us and I wear my red ribbon every December too xxxx
