Sir, can I just say that you're carrying me to finish my Medical Laboratory Studies. I'm so thankful mate. You're really helping me achieving a dream here.
whenever im cramming for an exam (it's not like i want/like to cram, our school sched is so tightly packed), i always watch your lecture videos, and im able to understand AND RETAIN the topic SOOOO quickly in my head! thank you so much!! you make studying medicine seem so easy c: and i love the puns too! haha
I have my exams tomorrow and it's an important long question that might come as 10 marks. Its a very big deal!!!! I literally used to just memorize without understanding anything and forget afterwards. Thank you so so much for this video. I wish you were a veterinary field professor 😭🙏🏻crisp clear concepts!!!
Never understood properly during my college days, scrached my head many times, but now understood in just 5 minutes, wonderful presentation, hope I had a professor like you
if you see a medical student saying im going to study and YET find him smiling while staring his phone or laptop.. .its not always tiktok videos he has been simply Welcomed to the famous world of medicosis perfictionalis❤️
This is BY FAR the BEST video on COMPLEMENT SYSTEM!!!!!!!! I have been scratching my head for the past 2 weeks confused with all the alphabets and numbers and now i feel like i figured it all out in just one video. Thanks a lot. Your explanation is top notch and your sense of humour makes watching a 27min video seems like 5 min.
FINALLY you did it !! what an amazing video covering all horizons (even that bridge thingy) btw some books mention C3 convertase of classical as C4b2a why is that so ?
I swear this video was good and effective for me, especially since I have a final exam in the immune system, and I did not know how to study this lesson. Thank you for being here, Professor💕💕
I was thinking why I, as a medical student, study this subject, but after listening to your explanation, I realized the importance of this subject to me as a medical student, thank you Doctor
I’m not a doctor, and I understand that the video includes “a” and “b”. My labs just say low 3 and 4. Not being an MD, your presentation was well written, and easy to follow/understand.
you're, GENIUS DOCTOR!! I really loved how you explained it with a funny and simple way! you made me fall in love with the complement system ( haha not with William 😂) Thank you so much, I really appreciate your videos ❤❤
Awesome content!! Was wondering if I could add another topic on your never ending list of request - a video on haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis? Appreciate all the learning you are facilitating here!
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis I’m looking into C5b wrt to COVID and clotting in severe hospitalized patients. Amazing how everything ties together eventually.
I have a question on the part that say bridge between innate and adaptive for first and second exposure looks same which one need antigen antibody complex
That's was a great explaining!! But there's a mistake! In the classical & lectin pathway the C2 is an exceptional case the a will be the bigger fragment and will bind to the cascade!
sir, can you educate me in this?? Most of the text books even my uni lecture notes say that C4b and C2a combined and produce C3 convertase.. But in your video you have explanied all the "a" parts are leaving the cascade?? what's the correct one? I'M CONFUSED??
if someone having type 2 hypersensitivity then only classical pathway will activate? like this is there any relationship between all 4 types of hypersensitivity will activate any of 3 pathways ?? @medicosisperfectionalis
Sure! Any type of hypersensitivity that has antigen-antibody complex in its pathophysiology (and the antibody happens to be IgG or IgM) can activate the classical complement pathway.
