@@Brainbean ok so I have bad eyesight and tend to clean in to see my screen. I already have problems in my upper back/shoulder area so it always aggravates it. my lower back is usually fine. But I don't want to spend a lot and still get something comfy. I'm also in the market for getting new a computer/monitor really everything. I play video games a lot and am a beginning streamer. What do you suggest on both ends?
I ordered a SecretLab Chair 2 years ago. I've been loving it for the most part. The leather on the arm rest started breaking apart and they said it is "normal wear and tear". If I do get another chair, I will likely look for something with an extended or better warranty, or something comparable at a cheaper price. Hurts my soul having spent as much as I did for the support I got. Beyond that, definitely love the lumbar support the Titan offers. I've been considering Autonomous AI chairs for the next pick up whenever that is.
I like secret lab because of the classy, luxury, fancy feel. I’m an attorney who also games a little. I can’t look unprofessional with a full gaming type chair with all those crazy colors lol
Hi Brainbean! My secretlab chair just arrived. Wanted to test it for myself before I messaged. I love my chair! Mate thank you so much for this video and best of 2019 vid. Your videos is 100% the reason why I ended buying them. Thanks again!
Save your back and get an ergonomic chair. I will never go back to a racer style chair. These chairs are terrible for posture, especially if you get a cheap one. They typically offer no seat depth adjustment, lumbar support/adjustment, no proper tilt function, and the bucket style seats are awful for sitting I agree that the pillows are a poor excuse for support or comfort. I guess my main complaint is that gaming chairs are marketed really hard and they’re mostly bad chairs and they’re bad for you. You should review the Autonomous Ergochair 2. It’s a $350 chair and offers great support. Highly recommended if you’re not looking to drop anywhere from $500- $1500 on a Herman Miller or Steelcase.
Ashwin Venkatesh I would say no to that chair for a couple of reasons: the lumbar support is sewed in so non adjustable, the seat is non breathable pleather. I would get something that has an adjustable lumbar and a breathable material for the seat. Mesh is awesome because it’s extremely breathable. I spent probably 3 weeks researching ergo chairs after my back was killing me while working at home in a racer chair. If you have a staples near by, the staples hyken is an excellent budget choice.
The LF chair is based on the Lifeform HB2390, a $2500 top of the line ergonomic chair so the LF is EXACTLY what you are describing. All hand made in Canada with great materials.
This Guy totally telling the truth. I bought cheap gaming chair and it didn't last long. Unless you buy secret lab this one can compete. Im now buying cheap chair but ergonomic chair.
I’m upgrading from my gaming stool … its awful ended up going with a corsair chair, it was in my budget so I think I’ll just be grateful there is back sport 😭
Nobelchair would have been a good one to include, they are along the same build and comfort as the Secretlab chairs. I can afford the LF and I am tempted but the $1000 savings on a Secretlab or Noblechair is sure enticing. Most other chairs are a write off since I am 6'6"
I have my eyes the omega series from secret lab, and ty for these useful tips. 5 min ago I was just distracted by almost every single amazon chair i came by, but now I'm really well aware.
Okay, so, I'm a console gamer, but I game at my desk. However I don't really sit at my desk in an upright position. I sit a bit (3-4ft) away from my desk and like to chill out, lean back, and relax. I followed up on youtubers and friends advices and bought an ergonomic certified office chair because "gaming chair bad" but it's absolutely horrible for chilling in. It is not comfortable at all if you want to lean back and chill. So... any advice on what chair I should buy?
I watched your video and it's so amazing how you recommend the best way and features about the chairs so I went ahead and got myself one its amazing and I even find myself sleeping on it after programing late at night. Than you so much. @t
I was about to purchase an OMEGA but I read a lot of comments on IG of delay and even missed orders. Some people been waiting since September and they keep pushing their date farther and farther. It's a pity because I really wanna get that brand tho 😕
I am 6 feet tall, should I buy the Secret Labs Omega or Titan? On their site it says Omega is for 5 foot 11 and shorter, but it is also $50 cheaper than the Titan.
I am going back and forth about the SecretLab Titan chair. I am torn about the pu leather and the premium Napa leather chair. Going from 400 to 800 is quite the difference. In your opinion will i get a return on my investment if i go with the Napa leather? Also do you think that the Napa Leather will last much longer than the pu leather? If The napa will last me years longer, I wouldn't mind splurging on this chair. Thanks for your help and your opinion in this area. I spend alot of time in my chair and while i have the money for the Napa, I don't want to spend money on it simply because I have it. Only if you believe it is worth it. Thanks again!
Gaming chairs are normally purchased for the looks and prestige of a ‘gaming chair.’ However gaming chairs are typically a lot better with pillows or in an office chair style.
The LF chair is based on the Lifeform HB2390, a $2500 top of the line ergonomic chair so the LF is EXACTLY what you are describing. All hand made in Canada with great materials. They just made a slightly cheaper model and dubbed it a "gaming chair" to reach that demographic that normally would look at their chairs.
Just a normal office style chair without a tall back the smaller medium back and like yeah it's ok but I don't think I am doing my body especially my back any service. Anyway, enough about that, my favourite chair would be the D.VA Special edition either Omega or Titan can't decide as I do like to sit crossed legged on my chair sometimes and like the Omega has the lumbar pillow support which you can get as additional accessories but yeah those two would be my favourite.
Loved the intro lol, those definitely were some interesting ways to call a chair. For me personally I want a footrest in the chair of my dreams, so until Secret Lab starts making chairs with them I'll definitely cop. Also you're getting quite close to 60K so congrats!
Could I ask for your opinion on the Anda Seat Kaiser II (I have been looking for over 4 weeks at chairs). This chair has what they call PVC Leather similar to the BMW - which means nothing to me really but it is one of the few chairs that can carry my delightfully plump body as I am, on top of all of this, 6'4" and so I have ordered it as I am in Canada and Anda Seat is in Ottawa which means the shipment is going to happen and stuff will not be stuck in customs. I think their Dark Knight is very similar. Office Chairs for my size are so expensive, but I am worth it as I work like 12 - 14 hours in my chair.
I watched one of his older videos. I wound up going with am Arozzi soft cloth and got the floor mat too. It's awesome. It didnt hurt that it was on sale. The only thing they all seem to be missing is a foot rest for when you recline. If I hadn't chosen that my next choice was a secret lab
"Gaming chairs" that should be warning number one lol.... buy ergonomic office chair. I personally use herman miller embody that i found for half price on ebay. Best for the money is to find yourself a used herman miller aeron chair.
Was either a pink hellokitty diva leather chair or a black Fabric gaming chair both used and foldable yeah ill go with black even if its a floor chair lmao
I have bought a backforce one and i can recommend it to anyone in europe since it is only made in Germany In my opinion it is even better than the Secret lab chairs with the same price. I love mine it looks alright and has top ergonomics.
I got the d.va soft weave chair from secret lab a year ago and I like it but I need to know how to clean it, cause in the area I sit (I like to put my feet on my chair, I just like to sit that way a lot) like dirt u know? And I can’t find anything, just the fabric cleaner from secret lab but I need to actually pull dirt from the chair to make it more pink again. So if anyone has done anything or knows anything I’d really appreciate it cause I just want it to look better again
I've Bought Auros gaming chair and i just want to know how do i make it not move easily and make it stable so it wont move unless i push it very hard if someone know how please tell me
Couldn't afford an expensive chair, got one of them cheap $100 chairs it's not bad but sometimes i will get a sore ass or neck after sitting for awhile definitely gets super hot though
what do you suggest as a good budget chair at around 200-300? also.. did you buy those 3 secret lab chairs? cus thats like almost 2000$ by itself depending on the quality..
