@@geortz__ I checked a few of them out man, good work. I've been following you on Instagram for a while now but only today I realised you have a YT too, I've subbed. I was just wondering, in a lot of your beats i've noticed that your 808 is your loudest component or joint loudest. I'm in two minds about how loud to make my 808s, I always thought that the melody had to be the loudest? Does it depend on the genre of the track or alternatively is it just preference?
Thanks! I’d say it really depends on the sample you’re using but for the most part hihats (and every good drum sample in general) should just be panned to taste since they’re already “mixed”
@@P-DOGG-db4oj tbh, no, but let them tell it yes! The T.I., Jeezy, and Gucci Mane’s of the world would say so. I argue elsewhere after digging into the Memphis tapes as it predates their time and is basically the trap era before trap. If you know something I don’t then please enlighten me.
